Default Recommend me some 'rich' smelling summer fragrances!

Title says it all. I prefer to wear 'full' and 'rich' winter type orientals, but looking to start early in my summer search. Looking for some not so light/airy summer fragrances, yet not so rich that they are a winter frag.

    Whatcha think?

Well, i like to use Opium PH edt in the summer, but i'm also a bit masochistic. If it's still too strong then go for one of their seasonal scents like Opium PH eau d'Orient (2006 or 2007).
Miracle Homme is another one that stands out as being one of the "all year round" type of frags.
Armand Basi Homme and Rochas Man both work well in the summer too.

Try Fendi Life Essence, it matches your requirement perfectly.

    Try Geir.
I also find Live Jazz to have a lot of richness and character, though many others accuse it of being weak. This accusation, to me, is extremely puzzling, as I get massive sillage and great longevity out of LJ.
Some good year round scents, like Sequoia for instance, are ones that could work well in the summer and be a fair bit richer than your standard summer fair.

Nuits d'Hadrien, all the best from Eau d'Hadiren plus a smooth ambery base - very addictive.

Honestly, just go for one of these
Habit Rouge (edt, or better still edc)
    Egoiste
    Kouros Fraicheur
All 3 are sort of bordering on being a bit too much for summer but they're not! And they're rich in a lovely, self-indulgent dandyish way.

    I would say:

Platinum Egoiste (still has enough going on to stop you getting bored but has the summer fresh vibe too)

Terre D'Hermes (citrus keeps the summer feel but its depth is truly amazing)

M7 (IMO this is light enough to wear in the summer, I wore it on holiday in Spain in the summer and it worked for me).

Richer fragrances with an element of green to them work well for me in summer. Yerbamate, Devin, and Fou d'Absinthe are all good examples. I've also been pleasantly surprised by two of th ericher Maitre Parfumeur et Gantier scents in summer: Santal Noble and Parfum d'Habit. In a different sphere, the menthol/camphor notes in both L'Anarchiste and Tubereuse Criminelle make both of them great summer scents for me.

Jaipur Homme Fraicheur is what you want...

Its an oriental which is light enough to be worn in summer....

Caron's Forte is rich and fruity, thus "summery", but has a terrific dry-down that ensures it's richer than most summer scents.

I also love Nicole Fahri Homme, which is simultaneously cool and spicy and Iceberg Twice Homme which is rounder and spicier still. Both are ideal for warm weather, and yet have depths that most lighter scents have.

Philosyskos by Diptyque may be one-dimensional, but it is rich as all get out and is a perfect warm weather scent at heart.

I'll also second l'Anarachiste by Caron. Love it!
