Peggy: "Right now, we have to get to the mental institution. Something terrible has happened."
Peggy: "Brother Boy has tried to kill himself. He jumped out of his bedroom window."
Latrelle: "Isn't he only on the second floor?"
Peggy: "Yes, but he hit his head on a lawn gnome."
Fr. Sordid Lives: The Series
"Live, live, live! Life is a banquet, and most poor suckers are starving to death."
I bought Kouros this year - highly satisying.
Le Labo Rose 31 & Patchouli 24, though I haven't received my P24 yet...both lovely additions to my wardrobe....
also in the middle of receiving Rose Poivrée and Domenico Caraceni...haven't tried them yet, but I hope I like.
Tiffany for men
Patou pour homme privé
Third man Caron
all of them absolutely enjoyable.
Black Aoud and Kiton Men are both deeply Satisfying. I also enjoy Eternity. I have armani code and explorer on the way but I may not get to enoy until the new year or shortly before.
Virgin Island Water
Un Jardin en Mediterranee
mark birley and Millesime Imperial.
It's my SOTD and it's Serge Luten's Santal de Mysore. This is by far the most satisfying and beautifully made scent I own. Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to get a bell jar from Paris and I had no idea what to choose because I love so many of the Luten's offerings. I asked around and my friend Shannon said that without a doubt, it had to be Santal de Mysore. Well, I had never tried that one and it was a blind buy. However, I am thrilled that I took the risk. It is the most true to life sandalwood balanced perfectly with spices and accented with gourmand notes like toasted coconut and cinnamon. This is breathtaking and every time I wear it I get a compliment.
My runners up are: Aoud Lime and Black Aoud. Both long lasting with killer sillage. These were bargain basement prices from the Swiss Montale Boutique sale. God, that was stressful!
L'Instant de Guerlain Pour Homme EdP - ! (I shall be stocking up)
Black Aoud - SILLAGE, LONGEVITY, and it smells good!
Do decants count? If so, then Muscs Koublai Khan and Patou pour Homme for sure. I'd buy full bottles of these in a New York minute if they were available in the U.S.

Late in the game, that is very late in the year, but I truly love Royal Briar by Carroll & Co. Everything about it is a surprise. The quality; the wonderful scent and the story of how it was resurrected after dying an untimely death at the hands of the Atkinsons people. I am not sure how I going to deal with the fact that one of my favorites costs $25 for 4 oz., but I guess I will deal with it.
Superb every one.
Geo F. Trumper Sandalwood...by far.
keepin' it musky
french lover, black aoud
current favourites: guerlain vetiver, trumper eucris, adp colonia
latest swag: cdg man2, lolita lempicka au masculin
next buys: keiko mecheri oliban, michael by michael kors
Christian Lacroix, Tumulte PH.
A superb cedar fragrance without any distracting elements.
Habit Rouge from tvlampboy. Thanks Matt.

Not necessarily my favorites of the year, these were the most satisfying because I grew to like them much more than expected:
