    Default Sensuous and smoky...

I'm been enjoying the much maligned Tom Ford FM over the past week, and a bottle is definitely in order this week. One of the elements I enjoy most about it is that smoky muskiness at is heart, something I assume the "cypriol" is responsible for. Other frags I've liked with smoky undertones have been Idole de Lubin and SL Arabie, though neither really fit as everyday office wear.

I am not a fan of incense scents like Gucci PH, Isfarkand, or Passage D'Enfer, so aside from those what other frags would fall into a "sensuous and smoky" group (preferably not too sweet)?

It may be not exactly what you want, but I instantly thought about Givenchy Xerius. Not sweet, sensuous, somewhat smoky, and simply wonderful.

Fumerie Turque is smokey for me

I also find a hint of smoke with tobacco in Miller Harris Feuilles de Tabac

Allure Homme would fit the bill, especially the smoky part though lately it's been on the decline here on the board and in the reviews.

As finsfan mentioned, Feuilles de Tabac, from Miller Harris, may just be what you are looking for. It is an "effervescent" tobacco scent that is quite sensuous, though perhaps not as smoky as you're looking for. To show what difference skin types (and, perhaps, sex) make, my wife bought this for me but it is way more sensuous on her than me!

What about Creed's Vintage Tabarome, or D'Orsay's very fine, boozy Le Dandy? The latter, especially, is sweet enough (but not very) to be quite sensuous.

I agree with previous recommendations for Tea for Two, L'Air du Desert Marocain, Dzongkha, and Fumerie Turque.

Nina Ricci's Memoire D'Homme is as sensuous and smoky and they can get. A very masculine, original and smoky scent.
