Default Red bottles (now with pictures)

Last November, Shycat asked about blue perfume bottles that Basenoters found attractive. Sometimes, just for fun, I wish I could search a database of perfume by bottle shape or color.

My weakness is for red, and I would love to know what red perfume bottles you find appealing -- opaque red, frosted red, clear with red accents, etc.

From my wardrobe: Valentino V Absolu, Eau Parfumée au Thé Rouge, Brit Red, and Amor Amor.

Nina, by Nina Ricci is the prettiest little red bottle with silver - probably my favorite along with Au The Rouge!

    One word: Trouble.

It's the only fragrance I have ever considered buying just for the bottle. Thank goodness I actually adore the fragrance too. It's weird but for some reason I get a great deal of satisfaction out of holding that bottle. (I have the cap with the serpent on it.)
    --------------------------------------
OK- I guess I like the Costes bottle too, especially the 100 ml splash - although I can't quite make up my mind about the fragrance.

I have a limited edition ruby red bottle of Le Baiser du Dragon with a black dagger like stopper and a gold asian looking emblem....it's such a pretty bottle.

And then the red Kingdom egg comes to mind.
"Like a lobster with a pearl in its claw, the beet held the jasmine firmly without crushing or obscuring it. Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. As if jasmine were a collection of beautiful paintings, beet hung it in the galleries of the nose, insured it against fire or theft, threw a party to celebrate it. Citron mailed the invitations." The new Vivienne Westwood
Let it Rock bottle is wonderful
    accented in red characters.
I also love her Anglomania bottle with the
    little dragon on it.

    In addition, I really like
    the style of Armani's
    Emporio Armani (RED) pour elle,
    Flirtatious by Flirt,
    West Side by Bond N°9
and I love-love-love the bottle for
Lucky Brand's Lucky Number 6 for women.

I also enjoy my bottle of Boucheron's Trouble
but more probably because of the cool snake on the cap.

I find the old style MPG bottles to be cheap and tacky looking, esp. when you throw in the old gold plastic stoppers topped with that gaudy, faux faceted red plastic "gemstone." All I can think of when I see one of those stoppers is little girl dress-up jewelry from a dime store. The color of red itself (on the old MPG bottles) is pretty, yes, but that's all I can say in their defense.

Peggy: "Right now, we have to get to the mental institution. Something terrible has happened."
    Latrelle: "What?"
Peggy: "Brother Boy has tried to kill himself. He jumped out of his bedroom window."
Latrelle: "Isn't he only on the second floor?"
Peggy: "Yes, but he hit his head on a lawn gnome."

I want to thank everybody for their suggestions on this thread! After looking up these bottles and thinking to make a small visual just for fun, I got a little carried away with finding others....
