Default nickel eau maximum active refreshing spray: just tried it

i tried this one the other day and i must say that i am somewhat baffled. I thought at first that i did not like it, but given a little while, it grew on me. I really cannot detect anything in this other than an "earth" note followed by cocoa in a way that does not say "i am a chocolate bar"...it is an earthy, cocoa bean note that has not been made to synthetically smell like chocolate...this one is very masculine as it smells like someone who might be harvesting cocoa beans in hot jungle somewhere and has fresh dirt on his hands...very nice, just somewhat mysterious considering it contains an elusive grapefruit note and an even more spectral patchouli note, which i cannot discern. All in all. not half bad...if you like earthy scents.

From your description, it sounds like Blue Agava and Cacao by Jo Malone. Have you smelled this and if so, would you say that they're similar?

I don't really like BA&C (even though I own it...)

Reviving this thread to correct the OP: the pyramid has coca leaf listed, not cocoa leaf. Though I'm sure cocoa leaf would also be interesting.

Very curious about this frag. Definitely ordering a blind bottle soon.

Well you can get over 100 ml for $20 total in the US, so there's not much risk, and if you find it weak in the base, as I did, you can spray a lot more than usual without feeling guilty. LOL.

Very reasonably priced, but yes you might need to spray a little more than usual. I kind of like it.

Do you guys smell any Calone in it? Fragrantica mentions "ozonic" and one reviewer mentions "cool cucumber" and Bvlgari Aqva...?
