Default My choice from Chanel Les Exclusifs - BEL RESPIRO

I agree with Ayala that No 18 is the most original from 6 new Chanel Les exclusifs. It's a scent of diamonds, frozen dills. No 18 is a totally new experience because it is the first scent mainly based on ambrette seed.
I like it but I like this one on women skin. It's cold, fresh, sharp, musky, sexy.

The second from the poit of originality - Bel Respiro. I bought 200ml bottle and am so happy. It's simple, naive, green at first few minutes, then turns to light light floral (hyacinth) , to BO scent (my father said that he can smell a slight aspects of shirt....)
It's amazing scent. Modern interpretation of Ven Vert, No 19.
It's very romantic, dreamy. As I read at basenotes directory the only one comment on Bel Respiro - the comparrison was made with Fellini's Dolce Vita. Bel Respiro has these vibes of past.
I have found beauty in it's simplicity.
I was talking with temperamental SA in Harvey Nichols who was interested in scents. She said Bel Respiro is nice but it's too soft, too slight, and she wouldnnt go with a man to bed if he would wear Bel Respiro

La Pausa is light iris scent - nice, marble, soft, not overly original.

Rue Cambon - too sweet, could smell some notes from Miss Dior Cherie and Opium.

Eau de Cologne - high quality eau de cologne. No more no less.

    Me too.

Now, don't get me wrong, I still have a problem with Chanel scents - but Bel Respiro I could make an exception for and if someone bought me a bottle I'd wear it.

I got a deluxe sample from the Chanel boutque and wore it in Puerto Rico this past summer. Lovely drydown - reminded me of some of the top notes of Calamus by Comme des Garcons and just a slight breath of cut grass and straw.

Question Re: My choice from Chanel Les Exclusifs - BEL RESPIRO

If you guys have tried it, what are your thoughts on Coromandel? (also of the Chanel Exclusif line)
    Anyone?

Coromandel hasn't made an impression. Lots in common with Prada. Light amberey oriental scent.
    I like heavy orientals.
Coco beats Coromandel in all aspects.

I guess I wouldn't be interested either, as I already own the women's Prada Amber.
    Thank you.

I received one of the deluxe samples of Coromandel and think it is superb. Yes, there is some amber there, but patchouli predominates. It's not a dark, oily patchouli, but rather bright, and it almost has a sunny feel to it. Very high quality scent that I haven't gotten to the bottom of in one wearing. With all due respect, Prada would DIE to have a scent this good in its line.
