Default C. Burr does not like the new Chloe (online review)

Michel Almairac's new Chloe by Chloe disappoints the NY Times perfume critic:

I would rather trust the reviews of bn'ers
Anyone planning to drop by Saks in February?
The fragrance of flowers spreads only in the direction of the wind. But the goodness of a person spreads in all directions.

I've got a bottle of this and was really disappointed. I love Chloe fashion and accessories so was hoping to love the new scent as well. The bottle is cute but the juice fell short. I don't find it a scrubber but it's slightly fruity, slightly floral with a synthetic sweet syrup smell all the way through from top notes to dry down. The packaging and proportions of the bottle remind me of Miss Dior Cherie but it's not quite as gourmand sweet.

I'm sure it will sell well and the advertising campaign and shots are very hip, but it's not an innovative launch in any way.
