(from a sample)
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, ...... I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost
If it arrives in the mail- Lp No.9! That's right, Baby- Lp No.9

Ulrich Lang Anvers 2 (2007)
Top Notes: Bergamot, Lime, Lemon, Black Pepper, Wild Basil, Rhubarb, Cypress
Middle Notes: Bulgarian Rose, Jasmine, Lily, Mimosa, Cedarwood, Sandalwood Vetiver,
Base Notes: Tonka, Vanilla, Musk, Amber, Olibanum, Oakmoss
Green and barely kissed by fruit, this is a woody floral that is complex and elegant;
the amber in the base stands in for patchouli, making this a somewhat chypre-toned scent.

It's sleeting here (yuck), and for the fourth day in a row I will have work or other professional obligations that mean I don't get home until after my kids (and often my DH, too) are asleep.
Warming things up with Sonoma Scent Studio Bois Epices
Notes from their web site:
A cozy musk with sandalwood, nutmeg, cardamom, ginger, and mandarin and supporting notes of cedar, cypress, and a hint of coffee.
It’s thought that people who hope too much will just waste their life away and never get down to doing any real work. They’re confusing Hope with Wish, its lazy cousin... When Wish whispers, “Something is just around the corner,” what comes or not is never what was wished for. When Hope whispers “Something is just around the corner,” something always is. -- Charlie Elberson

"The plant that you have in your home - have you ever truly looked at it? Have you allowed that familiar yet mysterious being we call a plant to teach you its secrets? Have you noticed how deeply peaceful it is? How it is surrounded by a field of stillness? The moment you become aware of a plant's emanation of stillness and peace, that plant becomes your teacher."

From the "Pick my SOTD" .....I am in RTamara's suggested...
...which does wonderful things on me. Notes listed are: Green Tea, Cardamom, Coriander, Rose Otto, Violet, Nutmeg, Leather, Vanilla, and Amber...but on me it's roses and violets and leather all the way. The cardamom and nutmeg give it just a hint of 'tude and the amber simmers a bit underneath....refined punk!!! Thanks Renee.
