I moved out yesterday, so couldn't report my SotD until I'd got my internet up and running. Today I wore Miss Dior Cherie, for a lovely, pretty, sweet scent... that hopefully people will smell and like. The boyfriend asked what I was wearing today, and said "it's nice". What a compliment from someone who usually says not a word!

Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. Good luck in your new home wherever it may be. You have baptised it with a gorgeous fragrance, so carry on the good work.

I'm wearing Opium edt again today because I'm just getting used to it (as opposed to the precious edp) and thus far I love it.

I'm also wearing a spritz of Roma on my right arm, just because I suddenly craved it. I'm not going anywhere today so I might raid the samples later.

Easing my way back into scent with the beautiful (and unexpectedly gentle) In Fiore Rose Noir parfum solide.

Saffron absolute and Damascena rose petals over a base of Assam oud and galbanum.

NAHEMA parfum for me today! I have a big pile of samples I want to try, but am saving them for the March "different" scent everyday threads. They're really tempting though, but it'll give me a chance for full wearings on most of them!

Thanks for the good wishes everyone! I've come back to University (second year!) and moved to the campus residencies again. Same house as last year, different shoebox bedroom, and different housemates. I've just about finished unpacking, and yes indeed, perfume was the first thing I unwrapped and placed decoratively on my well-shaded vanity table!

Slathered on some VS Pure Seduction for my SotE... though by the time I was putting it on, it was almost my Sniff of the very early morning! I always forget how powerful this stuff is, but absolutely beautiful to smell it as I fall asleep.

Glad to hear things are going well so far at university, Tavorna! I'm curious to find out what you think of the new spring Miss Dior Cherie.

I feel quite springy in Caron Aimez-Moi! Kinda gourmand, kinda floriental, altogether yummy! The violets and anise really make this lighthearted to me.

Top note : Bergamot, Anise, Mint, Cardamom
Middle note : Violet, Magnolia, Jasmine, Rose
Base note : Orris, Heliotrope, Tolu, Vanilla
