Default Knize 10 and Bal a Versailles. Similiar dry down?

I swear the dry down of Bal a Versailles parfum extrait is a dead ringer for Knize 10's. Please tell me, am I crazy?

I know that Knize 10 and Creed Royal English Leather have similar drydowns. Never tried Bal a Versailles.

Etro Gomma is also similar to Knize Ten. I can barely tell the difference.

Yes, you are correct. The drydown of Bal Versailles is very similar to the one of Knize 10. I didn't buy Bal versailles because I already own Knize 10.
If I had to choose now between these two I'd pick Bal, because it is smoother. Cheers

Every time I wear Knize Ten (which is rarely the case) my wife keeps telling me, that it smells exactly like bal a versaille!

Guys - what does the drydown smell like? Leather?

So I'm not crazy. My question now is, Why isn't Bal a Versailles considered a leather fragrance? To me, it smells like a smooth leather with amber and spice. It is pretty darn good.

It's quite interesting. Knize 10 is imho one of the most masculine scents out there and bal à versaille is a feminine perfume.

Bal a Versailles has a feminine "everything, but the kitchen sink" opening, but the dry down is pure butch.
