Default SOTD: Monday 17th March (St, Patrick's Day)

As promised yesterday, I am today wearing Frond, a Burren Perfumery fragrance from County Clare. Green, fresh, floral.

I wonder how many people on the men's board are going to be in Green Irish Tweed today?

I actually forgot to wear anything yesterday - went to the gym, came back and got engrossed in Civilization IV...and before I knew it, it was time for bed.

    Wearing Hypnotic Poison today.

Today I chose a sample of Penhaligon's Ellenisia, a true scent for english roses. It must be the curse of St. Patrick: I hate Ellenisia so much that I will have to take a second shower right away.
After that I'll put on Gucci by Gucci. Neither green nor irish, but the right comfort scent for the terrible weather we're having.

Chose Attraction by Lancome to continue with the female noses but then remembered St Patrick's Day and wore Gucci Envy for Men on the other wrist . Not that I really noticed during the day since my fave jacket STILL smells like Body Kouros (Why I was wearing a jacket in such warm weather I still don't know )

Sampling "Rose de Feu" by Parfums de Rosine. Giving roses another chance, that is. It's neither light nor too heavy. Let's wait a while.

Well I'm not being festive at all. I'm in Opium because it's often compared to Youth Dew and yesterday I was in YD Amber Nude and I wanted to see if they're similar and... you know where this is going.
And anyway, I do love Opium but I barely wear it at all these days, which is a shame and it's Diversity Month. And it's rainy. And it's Monday.

Champs Elysees today, which held up very well throughout a gym workout! I'm rather impressed. And for St Patrick's Day... I wore a green head band. Is that enough? I forgot to wash my green shirt in time! Oops

    Happy Saint Paddy Day!

Alas, this morning I didn't find a "green" scent fitting with the diversity and female noses joint themes - and I wore Philosykos already - so I am in a very easy to wear scent from Trussardi

    Inside Woman

created by Daphne Bugey in 2006, with notes of bergamot, rose, coffee, freesia, heliotrope, teak, amber, musk. It's actually not as sweet as it sounds.

But what I'd really love to wear today is Brulure de Rose from my big brand new bottle

Good morning all..and happy St Patrick's day for those celebrating.Today I'm continuing the diverse theme in SL Rousse from a sample I got from Dimples To me Rousse is quite similar to Feminite du bois, but I also think it must share some notes with Opium, because it kind of reminds me of that too Loving it non the less.Must admit I wasn't aware of the St Patrick's day,so I chose Rousse instead.Hope you all have a great day!

Well, I am not smelling festive today ( but I do have green on) but I am smelling fabulous and still keeping with diversity month. Today I pulled out the sample box and went rummaging....one of you fine people have sent me a sample of TDC Bois de Iris at some point. I spritzed a little on and now I am TOTALLY smitten with it.

I have been "noticing" lots of references to Youth Dew Amber Nude lately, and should probably try it, given the descriptions... Anyone know if it's available for testing anywhere? Or if anyone interested in a sample swap, please PM me...

Today, for my "green" scent (and to continue my diversity month, though I fear I MAY have worn this once before earlier this month ) I'm in Prada Infusion d'Iris. Perfect for this chilly near-spring weather.

    Who doubted, Miss Q.?

Was able to log on in the morning, was not able to post. Anyhow, my diverse St.Patricks' was marked by more testing: Celine Ellena (the talented daughter!) for TDC Un Parfum de Charme et Feuilles (mint, wild thyme, the best marjoram there is, cool transparent and non-sweet jasmine, patchouli), it is green and blended by a woman.

In the afternoon I am enjoying the luck -- the fabulous package from tang arrived. Among others, with candy, cookies and and tea! The luck of the Dutch, that is.

I'd have been in keeping with today's suggested theme but nevermind. I think this is one of the sexiest fragrances EVER and I'm amazed that I detested it at first. My Luckyscent samples which will see me through the rest of diversity month should be arriving any day now, maybe tomorrow................!
