Thread: Banned Members

    Default Banned Members

I pulled up someone's profile yesterday and noticed below the member name it read "Banned". When I looked this person up on the "Member List" the name was not on there. Do people really get Banned from Basenotes and what would constitute an official Banning? Can't someone just create a new member name and start from scratch?

Yes, people really get banned. There are rules to follow!

There's a section on the bottom saying "What May Get You Banned."

Thanks for the link! I searched and searched last night but was not able to find that particular page.

I can't believe that there are people who would blantly disregard the forum rules--or more importantly just not use common sense or courtesy. But then again, nothing in the world really shocks me too much these days. There's only disappointment.

I'm very happy to be a part of this community, even though I don't have a lot to say at times. It's nice to feel connected.

I don't nkow if it's a server problem, but I have been billed for supporting, although it's "pending" and then when I logged on here, I ended up having to delete most of my mail, box was full... haven't tried to post anything on sale/swap board. . .

I suppose you can contact that member and ask that question.
