Spent 5 minutes staring at my perfume trying to decide what to wear around noon, four hours later I'd already forgotten. Had to go back and stare again to work out which bottle I picked up - turns out it was Sun, Moon and Stars.

    Hope everyone's enjoying their weekend

Oh! I'm SO glad you young people do that too! (Now...where am I??? )

It's three in the ayem here and I am sleepless in SC but poured on some nice Eternity for Men, just to be in the swim of things. (Many thanx to KBE who keeps me in the latest masculine style!!)

Went to my oldest bottle today on this cold rainy day. Amani Mania just felt warm and comforting without the usual sweetness I am so fond of.

    Good Morning.

    Noa by Cacharel today.

Read about it in Perfumes the Guide and was intrigued. btw this is a perfect book for the distracted. I can put it down get something for my Mom (she is doing better - out of the hospital and starting rehab). pick it up again and it doesn't even matter if I am on the same page.

I checked out a nearby fragrance outlet store yesterday and they had Noa. I bought the small one on the basis of a quick sample. Full wearing today. I like it.

Should be wearing: 80s powersuit, Addicted to Love makeup (smoky eye, glossy red lips, severe bun)
Am wearing: a Guiness t-shirt, shorts, and the rheumy eyes of the allergy sufferer.

Will have to try this one again when I am sniffing better.

Went back to bed - went back to the sleep I never had in the first place - and am now being unfaithful to KBE in all sorts figs. Premiere Figuer (****) and Figue Amere (**)....those are M. Turin's stars - not mine.

My first fiance - a Brit who ran an art gallery in Manhattan - made a distinction between what he believed to be "good" (met all the criteria etc.) and what he liked. I LUVLUVLUV both of these. :bounce:

    Proud of you, Ubu!

Felt like La Chasse aux Papillons, even though it doesn't particularly complement the small prairie burn we're planning to do in the front yard.

    Congrats Ubu!!!
Today is a sunny but coolish day .
    Lovely out!
    I'm testing
    Parfumerie Generale L’eau de Circe
    and
    Montale Aoud Blossom.
    Interestingly enough they seem similar.
L’eau de Circe a lighter, more
    transparent version of the thicker,
    darker and denser Aoud Blossom.
Although both are lovely they are not

I tend to forget that I have samples etc sometimes... Well, for this afternoon/ evening it's perfect Hope you all have a great sunday.

Was wearing Jo Malone Lime Basil & Mandarin but, and you could have knocked me over with an inflatable stick, i found myself craving a floral, so scrubbed the Malone and am now wearing Tocca Touch.

Up to now, I've been a floral hater...so this is big time!
