Plus Que Jamais for me, from a sample...this is a luscious scent.
Have a wonderful day, all.
"Like a lobster with a pearl in its claw, the beet held the jasmine firmly without crushing or obscuring it. Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. As if jasmine were a collection of beautiful paintings, beet hung it in the galleries of the nose, insured it against fire or theft, threw a party to celebrate it. Citron mailed the invitations." Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins p. 189
What I am loving right now: Shalimar vintage extrait, Chanel Bois des Iles, Chanel no. 22, Le Labo Iris 39, Guerlain Iris Ganache

Welcome back rtamara - girl, I've been wondering where you had disappeared to
Inspired by Taolady who wore her last week, I am in Patou's
Sira des Indes
from my very neglected bottle. Ehm, she doesn't agree with the rainy weather we have..she does need sunshine.
Have a good Monday, all!
I'll stop wearing black when they make something darker
Henri Berdoues parfums Violettes de Toulouse EdP. To all who got the same bottle as I do: please do not repeat my mistake, take off the bulb atomizer and use the regular cap for storing. The lavender colored bulb is fun to display and use, but it does about the same to preserving the scent as keeping it without a lid.
Have a good week, everyone!
Nuits de Noho! (Inspired by rtamara41's shared inability to wear and love Angel!)
How wonderful, a lot of us are inspired by other members
Ah, LIB, it is sunny over here, want to join? Almost a cure against the Monday blues.
A warm 'welcome back' to Renee!
Also inspired. By Mr. Guerlain no less. After reading the reviews on his site of Liù and Djedi, I hunted my dwindling sample of Liù down.
::now, they do still sell that one in Paris, no? ::

The splendor of the rose and the whiteness of the lily do not rob the little violet of it’s scent nor the daisy of its simple charm. If every tiny flower wanted to be a rose, spring would lose its loveliness.”

Welcome, welcome, welcome back rtamara and musse!!! And since this seems to be a day of comebacks, I'm going to think positively and break out my much hoarded sample vial... Djedi extrait. With intense gratitude to the incredibly generous BNer who shared this treasure.

I don't know why I feel compelled to try new scents when I can't smell them quite right.
Probably because my "to try " bag is so full with goodies from BNers.

Welcome Back! We've missed you both.
Have a day off, will spend it in one of the most irritating ways, household shopping with DH! Another carpet needs to be purchased and he insists on a long protracted search. After it is bought he will never notice it again.
So I will be wearing his favorite AL Incense Tibet by AL
