    "new subtle fragrances from axe"

    i sniffed a sample from the may issue of american GQ

    of bergamot - meh.

    collection: bergamot, amber, and i think vetiver

    i want to try amber

    try something new...and wallet safe

    im allegic (sensitive-wise) to original axe....so i hope i dont choke while testing these...hope they are subtle enough.

    They are ok enough, in the way air fresheners smell ok. But with so many great frags to wear, I could never see myself reaching for a bottle of any of these overly synthetic blends. So, despite being cheap, they'd be a waste of money for me. (besides, you could, for example, buy and dilute real vetiver to 10%, and get 150 or so ml worth for $5, and you'd have a much better smelling vetiver imo.)

    I will add that I get more enjoyment out of spraying it in the air and smelling it because it doesn't last at all on my body which is a shame because they actually smell good.

    Completely agree with you. I'd rather accumulate up my $$'s which would otherwise be spent radomly on el cheapo stuff and actually buy something substancial.

    They make good layering agents as they're not very prominent on their own.

    I tried Amber at Target Sunday.

    I didn't like it.
