Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, ...... I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost
So clear, so fresh and so long-lasting. The odours are reminiscent of the sun-kissed countryside … A tonic blend thanks to the graceful, subtle succession of lemon, verbena, mint and basil. L’Eau de L’Artisan compliments both men and women on lovely sunny days.
For scent today (community service clean-up in the neighborhood where I work, then to little league opening day for DS#2, and finally off to a folk festival that runs 'til 11 p.m.), I am basking in the perfect spring floral from the divine Twolf, L'Artisan Jacinthe des Bois. I adore this, though fear I should be more delicate and wraithe-like (with long, wood-nymph type hair) to really do this fragrance justice. A light, elegant hyacinth soliflore.

It’s thought that people who hope too much will just waste their life away and never get down to doing any real work. They’re confusing Hope with Wish, its lazy cousin... When Wish whispers, “Something is just around the corner,” what comes or not is never what was wished for. When Hope whispers “Something is just around the corner,” something always is. -- Charlie Elberson
My sale thread has some of my underappreciated fragrances looking for a good, new home...
I was planning on wearing a Fig fragrance, but after 1 spray of Trumer's Sandalwood ... this is now the SOTD!

After yesterday's orgy of confections (Loukhoums and chocolate during the day - dreaming of sweet orientals all night) needed a refresher so am awash in TBS' Zestini - absolutely lives up to it's name. Just like that bitter bright spurt when you've twisted the zest into your espresso after Death by Chocolate!!
And HAPPY HAPPY to Cologne Junkie!! :bounce::bounce::bounce:

Parfume d'Habit today, which to me seems like a fairly light, warm weather leather. It seems to have more space in it than a straight, as it were, leather. More the feeling of sitting in the garden mending your chaps or your shepherds cloak or something.

*Since the whole interweb is acronym crazed, I hereby dub i Profumi di Firenze as iPdiF (which, phonetically, could be dubious) by the authority vested in me by finding out that I sampled, bought, and reviewed one of their new frags just released exclusively to Barney's (Brezza di Mare). Which I didn't know until I did some research at home. That's a BN moment!
