Default Terre d'Hermes - Good for hot weather?

It's really hot in here and the sun shines like no other.

Now I wonder if Terre d'Hermes is not to heavy for such high temperatures.

    What do you people think?

I'm going to some harddance event and I'm thinking to spray this, but it will get really hot in there (I think) so I'm having doubts. Issey is to sour I think so it will either be Chrome azzaro or YSL l'Homme. Giving me advice on this would also be helpfull.

Dude, you can spray *anything* loud at a harddance event. Spray away.

    You're right Stereotomy...
But I don't want to annoy anyone on the train to the event.

You could use a decant spray or such, though that's only if you have one available. Anyway, I hear it does work well in hot, humid environments. It doesn't work for me, but maybe if I left my house...

I think you'd be fine, I think you'd definitely be happier with the response to TdH than to Chrome.

I live in Florida, TDH does well here, just be sparing in the application.

The obvious and not very useful answer is that you ought to give it a whirl and smell what you think. Or think what you smell? Or see what you smell?
To me it doesn't work well on hot, muggy days because the slight smell of decay that is an interesting counterpoint in cooler weather can become oppressive and actually make me feel a little ill. TdHis one that I need to spray sparingly and keep away from my face to really enjoy. But it certainly has a sort of complexity and willfulness that keeps it interesting.

I just got my decant a few days back so I can't attest to how it performs in cold weather. In the heat, the whole "dirt" thing makes me feel like I just got done with some manly outside labor of some variety or another. I love it. I bought 6 other decants at the same time, and I can't seem to leave Terre d'Hermes alone long enough to give them a fair shot.

This fragrance is enjoyable anytime of the year, but I certainly like it most in warm weather. One spray gets the job done.

I am inclined to say yes, with caution however. It should bloom fine in the heat but for me, that pepper accord can swarm up in the heat with that tart citrus note and induce headache so spray judiciously.

    I did 6 sprays...

    And nobody complained...
Maybe they don't have the guts, or my skin really soaks it up.
Or maybe this was just ok.

I don't know anymore what to think really...

I always take TdH with me to Vegas and it performs very well. I really enjoy it in hot weather.

TdH works great in the heat ... but a little goes a long way when it is about 30C+ and humid.

TdH is good hot weather stuff, but as everyone said, go sparingly.
