Jean Pascal as SotD
There are three kinds of people in this world: those who understand math and those who don't (four out of three people surveyed agree with this).

"The plant that you have in your home - have you ever truly looked at it? Have you allowed that familiar yet mysterious being we call a plant to teach you its secrets? Have you noticed how deeply peaceful it is? How it is surrounded by a field of stillness? The moment you become aware of a plant's emanation of stillness and peace, that plant becomes your teacher."

Good morning My workscent today will be Pleasures. Not decided on sote yet.A friend comes over for curry later,so probably something that will go nice with the spices in the food.
Top Notes: Bergamot, Lime, Green Notes
Middle Notes: Lily of the Valley, Linden Blossom, Ylang-Ylang, Cyclamen
Base Notes: Vetiver, Sandalwood, Musk
This is a fairly green floral perfume. It starts with a citrus top note sweetened with ylang-ylang and moderated slightly by green leaves. The heart blooms with muguet and cyclamen, softened by the slightly acerbic note of linden flowers. The base is a woody-musky blend, which supports the whole as effortlessly as if it floated on air above.

Really liked Cashmere Mist last night so I'm wearing it again today. Hmmm I think I may need to buy a full bottle of this sometime....

has decisive and dry undertones. The perfect gift for a man.”

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, ...... I went a bit crazy so I'm wearing 6 at the moment.
On my left arm: Castile (a masculine... something, don't get any citrus), Cereus No. 7 (kind of an odd citrus), and Cereus No. 11 (reminds me of T&H's Trafalgar a bit).
On my right: Grafton by T&H (all I can make out is the leather at this point), Space.NK Man (great scent, pretty poor longevity), and my still favorite, In Motion.
My limited 'drobe: Boss In Motion, Armani Code, Concentre d'Orange Verte, Paul Smith Story.

The fragrance of flowers spreads only in the direction of the wind. But the goodness of a person spreads in all directions.
Will probably put on some Diptyque Philosykos after the gym.
Have a nice sunday all!

Happy Mother's Day to all...Un Bois Vanille for me today, it's rainy and about 50 degrees f.
I'm in Kelly Caleche - perfect fizzy leather for this sunny weather.
The Wordchick and I went out for icecream this morning. It was lovely. Sadly, Mr Wordbird is on a plane to India for work, so he missed it. Any suggestions on things he should bring us back? (apart from a big bottle of Kelly Caleche...)

Daughter No. 2 ( who hopes to be a chef one day) just made me a lovely surprise breakfast of homemade waffles with real maple syrup, fresh fruit salad, fresh oj and coffee. She also got some beautiful white peonies and put them in my beloved vintage fiestaware vase (its turqoise). Now we are going to church and then everyone will come back to my house for lunch ( easier than going out on Mothers Day).
I am wearing Ava Luxe No.23
Happy Mothers Day !
"Like a lobster with a pearl in its claw, the beet held the jasmine firmly without crushing or obscuring it. Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. As if jasmine were a collection of beautiful paintings, beet hung it in the galleries of the nose, insured it against fire or theft, threw a party to celebrate it. Citron mailed the invitations." Today I have been too busy to put on something (am still in my nighties....), because hubby and daughter found out that they should take a trip to Stockholm, which means I had to try to find zillions of "neccesary" things they would probably not need to bring with them.
They left ten min. ago.
Hooray!! Vacation for me. :bounce:
Off to take a shower, spray on some Yvresse, and google orange bottles.....

Happy Mother's Day to all involved!
Sampled Chergui (thanks to Musse!) today. I'm not sure of the notes on this one, but it just felt very very GREEN. Kind of a harsh, medicinal green at that. I've decided that 'green' scents are perhaps not really my thing. I prefer softer, sweeter scents.
Hinoki (Comme des Garcons/Monocle)
Maybe weird on a sunny day like this, but it behaves quit well.
Got coffee (which is about as much breakfast as I can handle) in bed today, and cards from the DH kids, including a gift certificate for a massage! Oooo, I am in heaven.
Also smelling heavenly, in my beloved Neil Morris Storm.
Happy day to everyone!
It’s thought that people who hope too much will just waste their life away and never get down to doing any real work. They’re confusing Hope with Wish, its lazy cousin... When Wish whispers, “Something is just around the corner,” what comes or not is never what was wished for. When Hope whispers “Something is just around the corner,” something always is. -- Charlie Elberson
My sale thread has some of my underappreciated fragrances looking for a good, new home...
Tom Ford Extreme
Crabtree and Evelyn Sandalwood
This one used to come off alot more lemony to me, but lately I think it is more of a spicy musk, lots of cardamom, and a peppery rose.
