    Question White heat/white flowers

    My wardrobe lacks white flowers!

I have tried some - for example FM Lys Mediteranee, SL Un Lys, A la Nuit, Creed Jasmal...

I think I love them all, and to make things even more difficult: which are your favourites? I consider the ones above unisex (although maybe little on the feminine side). I am pretty masculine myself and I like the contrast - plus I think those fragrances really changes on my skin. I don´t want anything sweeter than those above and not anything super fresh. Hot, nocturnal, hypnotizing white flowers -

    - what do you say?

definitely a la nuit is the most hypnotic among the ones you named.
If you like hypnotic white flowers and particularly lilly, you won't be disappointed by Miller et Berteaux #1 parfum trouvé: definitely a unisex hypnotic lily!
Another of my fav white flowers which I find teasing is magnolia, so if you like it you might want to sample Givenchy Insensé, CDG 2 and DZONGKA.

You, sir, want Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia by Estee Lauder - one of the best white floral releases of 2007.

    Thanks a lot!

Of the ones you mentioned I have only tried Dzongka, and my only memory is that I didn´t like it. But I defenitely have to go back and retry. (I absolutely DON´T trust my first attempts to get "niche" fragrances, and this was one of the first I tried after joining BN...)

Fracas and Tubereuse Criminelle are masterpieces, also Carnal Flower and Jasmin Full are very good.

When I saw the title, my first thought was: CdG White

Of the ones you mentioned, my faves are Un Lys and A la Nuit
(if that one is "death by jasmine", then it's also "such a heavenly way to die" )

Today i´ve done what i´m told to (as far as I could):
I tried Dzongka, CdG2, Private Collection Tuberose Gardenia and Fracas.

I liked PCTB and surprisingly Dzongka best, although I have to try Dzongka even more. It is not what I thought I as looking for...

Tomorrow I´ll try the white one. And Donna Karan Gold. Thanks nattygold!

I’ve been wearing Un Jardin en Mediterranee from Hermes lately, and I am really into it. It’s very fresh and watery with its fig opening, but the florals come out after a few minutes, orange blossom and white oleander, with cedar.
I like the overall combination…it’s really aromatic and fresh!

Another sleeper white floral scent that I almost never hear mentioned here on the mens board is 24 Faubourg Eau Delicate by Hermes.

The original 24 Faubourg is too...much for me to wear comfortably. But Jean Claude Ellena created 24FED for Hermes a couple years ago and it's soapy, garden fresh, white floral combo (jasmine, tuberose, orange blossom) works rather splendid on a man.

This can also be found deeply discounted online. Check it out!

Diptyque's Ofresia is a great unisex white floral. Green freesia with a hint of pepper, great longevity & sillage.

Seems like a visit to the Hermes counter is close. Thanks again!

"Luckily" there is only one big department store in Stockholm, and they also have Diptyque...

The new La Cologne Fleur du Male is worth to try. Forget what you (perhaps) think of the 'original' FdM. They've altered it for the better, a very nice white floral scent, and for men.

Olene by Diptyque is very much a white flower blend as well.

Has anyone tried Chanel No22? Seems really nice, with the incense too...

    Yes. Too. Much. Aldehydes.

I don't really consider C22 a 'white flower' fragrance. But that's just me.

Serge Lutens: Fleurs du Oranger (one of best orange blossoms ever)_
Frederick Malle: Leau D'Hiver (has a very strange note of a flower lurking, which is amazingly real and white)

    Not tried Chanel 22.

I have Fracas but wear it with Rive Gauche PH- and freaking LOVE that combination. Oddly, I couldn't make friends with Fleur du Male. I'll have to revisit it some day.

I'll also use Guerlain's Mahora/Mayotte when I want something more subtle. Mahora is more tropical and masculine on me than I expected. You might want to give it a sniff too. It is feminine at first but doesn't fade powdery or soft. I find that the tropicals blend well with my natural oils and maintain their pungent quality...subtley though.

It is nice indeed, though I prefer Neroli by C&S. The other day Mikeperez schooled me on the difference between the two, but most of the times I will go for Neroli over FdO.
    FM Lys Mediteranee is good.
Am i the only one who thinks iris can pass as a white flower?
in that case Bois dIris is a good one, just as Kenzo Power (funny thing is they never mention iris as a note).
Fleur du male is excellent IMO. The synthetic vibe just adds point to it.
Angeliques sous la pluie is good too.
I second Ascella's recomendation Jasmine Full and Add white Musk by Montale
    Puro Lino!
