I was at Marshall's today and found this oddity: Goal Eau de parfum For Men. The house is Jeanne d'Urfe' from Paris.
Anyone ever hear of it? I could only find this in a cache: http://web.archive.org/web/200411161....php?type=goal
It's a white box with purple trim and has a Silver/White Soccer Ball on the front (or Football depending where you live).
I haven't opened it yet. The page above in French refers to a Hesperide (citrus) Wooded Flowered. I fear a Juniper Berry based scent (which is why I haven't opened it yet!).
It does look like the company has either gone out of business or was a division of Jeanne Arthes (http://www.groupe-arthes.com/v1/index.html)

Well, I decided to open it up.
Wow. It smells like hairspray laced with Juniper Berry. Dang! I can't escape it!
It really is an "Eau de parfum" and doesn't last very long at all (which is good in my case so I'm not tortured by the Juniper). I think it lasts as long as a Demeter Fragrance.
At any rate, I'm going to rate this one an "oops!"
