I'm so excited by the amount of people joining in with wearing L de Lolita Lempicka! Let's have another sweet and gourmandy day!

No surprises as to MY SotD: L de Lolita Lempicka of course! Still absolutely loving it on this wet and miserable day. I'm all rugged up indoors with my big pink polarfleece jacket and this comforting scent. Mmm-mmm!

    AG Grand Amour for me.

Didn't catch the sad news until after spritzing it on, would have chosen Y instead if I had known. RIP, YSL.

Only found out bout YSL's death this arvo. Was wearing L de Lolita Lempicka and Guess. Last night I found L had a weird rubbery smell so I sprayed Guess on top of it and liked what I smelled, so I layered the two again today.

I'm wearing AL's Venezia, a wonderful floral oriental. I love , love, love this scent, but it's a big one and should be applied with care.

Top notes : peach, black currant, and bergamot.
Heart notes: osmanthus, rose, jasmine, and carnation.
Base notes are soft sandalwood, vanilla, ambergris and benzoin

Tonight I'll wear the great Opium from YSL.

Eau d'Hadrien EDP for morning and afternoon.
This humid weather is asking for something fresh and sparkling.

But tonight I will be yours again, Tavorna In L de Lolita Lempicka.

    Rubber in 'L', jillsy?? Ack!!

Ah, you can layer Rive Gauche with Eau d'Hadrien. On different parts of the body, but nevertheless......
    Small tribute to YSL.

    Hermes Hermèssence Poivre Samarcande

Poivre Samarcande's subtlety belies its complexity. I find it both relaxing and stimulating. Quiet and mysterious, I feel as if it's whispering different things to me as I wear it. If I could touch it, I would expect to feel freshly sanded cedar, dried peppers, and silky warm skin.

already in Vamp, but will find a way to layer with Rive Gauche, as Riannon suggested.
"Like a lobster with a pearl in its claw, the beet held the jasmine firmly without crushing or obscuring it. Beet lifted jasmine, the way a bullnecked partner lifts a ballerina, and the pair came on stage on citron's fluty cue. As if jasmine were a collection of beautiful paintings, beet hung it in the galleries of the nose, insured it against fire or theft, threw a party to celebrate it. Citron mailed the invitations." If I had a bottle, I'd be wearing Rive Gauche too, in memory of the great man.
But I don't and it's hot here, so I'm in the fresh and citrussy Jasper Conran Woman.

Hello, again, dear Sloan!!!! Lovely to see you back, and you smell mighty good, too.

I'd sprayed Parfumerie Generale Cuir d'Iris before hearing the news of YSL's death, so will wear Opium, the perfume that started it all for me, as my SoTE.

for work today (both the dive shop and photography gig) it shall be Cuir de Russie.

feeling a little bit like leather, so we'll go with that scent, since a leather corset and boots might be a bit much for the workplace. ;-)
