This afternoon, I received a vintage bottle of Monsieur Note Havane.
I have been searching but have not found any information about this fragrance. I did find another bottle for sale in Italy but the item description was not very informative.
It is hot and humid here, not the best time to be testing out a new fragrance, but so far it is very barbershoppy with a soft tobacco note. Sillage is average. I think it is a chypre as it has citrus (bergamot?) and moss. It is definitely not a fougere, I don't detect any lavender or coumarin.
If anyone is familiar with this fragrance, please help fill in the blanks!

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, ...... I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost
