Default Tiffany pour homme or Armani pour homme

    Is Tiffany too dated smelling?

It's been a while since I smelled either, but I would choose Tiffany over Armani. Neither scent smelled dated to me...

No. I do not feel Tiffany for Men is dated at all. It is a fantastic fragrance - and the drydown is outstanding!

I would definitely choose Tiffany over Armani.

Tiffany is very strong.... it's not dated because it's high quality, but it's certainly not in the 'fresh' or 'light' trend of today. I've heard it was made by Chanel, which would explain the high quality. It is somewhat reminiscent of Pour Monsieur, but spicier and less citrus. Tiffany opens with a punch of spice and woods. The spice lasts a long time but eventually settles down into a nice woodsy base with quite a bit of musk evident. It would work well as a romantic/dinner/night fragrance. Don't overapply.

I can't really speak too much to the original Armani, it's been a long time since I've smelled it.

Neither is outdated, and both contain citrus and nutmeg. However, with the Armani, the emphasis seems to be on the citrus. Tiffany (created by Jacques Polge, who also created Chanel pmc) is spicier, with a beautiful emphasis on a sandalwood drydown. Much better sillage & longevity on my skin than the Armani.

    Go with the Tiffany.

I'm going to go the other way and choose Armani. Tiffany is a great fragrance, but sometimes it can be a bit much for what I want to wear. I never feel that way with Armani.

I love both. My recommendation: get both. Neither smells dated.

Tiffany is much more refined than Armani. I would pick Tiffany. As Mike said, get both if you can as they are classics. But then again, I would pick Versace L'Homme over Armani (they belong to the same family).
