Default BAIE de GENIEVRE by Creed

In the past few months I have sampled a few Creeds .
Some I tried more than once & others once only .
This is the first one that has excited me !!
    Its stunning .
    BUT !! ....
I find it hard to believe it only has 3 components .
    Juniperberry
    Cinnamon Leaves
    Vetiver
Is this true or is it just a mistake in the directory ?
    cheers .

It's also one of the longest lasting Creeds ever, it just goes on and on

    The offical pyramid:
    Bergamot, cinnamon leaves, juniper berries
    Clove, pink pepper
    Vetiver Bourbon, Ambergris

One of my favorite Creed sleepers. Pure goodness.

Follow the naed's review on this beauty. It is, indeed, an almost military scent, but not for the lower ranks... As for the composition, the main notes, as advertised on the official site, are the ones that you noticed. Though the main player here is 'le genievre', this is not as cold as Epiceea, and not at all sweet (despite the times when its composition was crafted). Very good choice, though not the best Creed of the eighties.

Coincidence - Baie de Geneivre was the first Creed that I liked also. It was my first full bottle of Creed, and I still love it's odd spicy/barbershop vibe. It's extremely refreshing after a long workout and a shower.

BdG is better than Bdp and GIT. Period. It smells like nothing else.

I bought a few sample vials of this one at Perfume Connection for a dollar each. If I'd thought about it, I should have bought them all, it would have been cheaper than buying a bottle.

This scent has great lasting power, great presence and great juniperberry.

But I do have a problem with it. Some days I sniff it and I think "Unisex - ok". Other days I sniff it and think "Feminine - not okay".
I just can't peg it down.

It actually smells a bit like Aramis Tuscany, albeit no juniper and not as sharp.

It is an awesome scent, but one that I wear not too often. It is too intense for me to wear regularly, so I wear it on special days.

I wish it came in a 1 oz bottle, as I go through it very slowly.

I have to change my tune on this one. While I like it and own a bottle, I recently posted that it had poor longevity. Not true. The last two times I wore it, it lasted all day and beyond.
For the most part, this is out of the ordinary for a Creed and I.
