(Not that it hasn't already been mentioned)
Some say it smells like strawberries, some say limes and spice. Regardless of your interpretation, the compliments will still fly.

Giorgio for men !! Is it really back ????
i've got complement from 2 nice girls - ck eternity summer 2008 during dry down
Compliment on Black Aoud today.
Over the years only a few have prompted compilments - Eau Sauvage, Hugo, Jazz, Azzaro and Polo. But the only one that I recall resulting in a number of compliments was Obsession for Men (partly perhaps as this is my 'special occasions' choice).
I've had a few from Vera Wang. I went for dinner with some friends last night and 2 of the girls there both loved it.
We've talked about it before - Canoe by Dana. I've got a dozen Creeds and 50 other scents and the ladies love my $8 a bottle Canoe.
I get compliments from my wife when I wear Egoiste and from my 12 year old daughter when I wear R&G pour l'homme.
Lots of compliments with JHL - many female friends asked if is Opium
Equipage - described as a strange but beautiful scent
I've worn a ton over the years, but the only one to get compliments is Jovan Musk.
The first time in high school was when I sprayed it all over and on my sweater and on my hair. The person who noticed was the director of the production of The Little Shop of Horrors, which I was in. She said I smelled "really good."
The second time I sprayed myself over and over and also added a bit of my mom's Red Door by Elizabeth Arden. My friend Jen, who was my age, commented "Dude, you smell really good."
I've grown up now, and I haven't gotten any compliments on scents MUCH better than Musk. Maybe I'm not wearing enough? Maybe I should stick to musky scents? Sometimes it's nice to have feedback on stuff.
Well, since nobody was able to tell me wich fragance is similar to By Man from Dolce & Gabanna, my next question is: Wich scent has this incredibly sexual masculin smell. Im not asking the same ol question "wich perfume helps me get laid". I need to know wich one you smell and makes you think: 'damn this is HOT'. NOT: Wow this smells nice. I hope you cath my drift.
I have a lot of compliments on Hanae Mori and Unbound by Halston.
Hmm, I'm not asking wich one gets you compliments.I am asking wich one is extremely sexual, masculin maybe naugthy. Non of my favourites match that description
. Only By Man does, but its discontinued.
First thing in the morning.
Strong! like Bull!
Depends on your personality and how you hold yourself man. The cologne/perfume can compliment your attitude, not the other way around.
Here are some suggestions on different kinds of sexy scents:
Mr. Seductive wears: Musc Ravageur by Editions de Parfum by Frederic Malle
Mr. Large and In-charege wears: Duro by Nasomatto
Mr. Don't Care, Just Wanna Have Fun wears: Straight to Heaven by By Kilian
Mr. Come Closer wears: Rose 31 Le Labo
Mr. Flirty and Fun wears: Bond no.9 Nuits de Noho
Have fun man!
oh "Dirty sexy"...Musc Ravageur for sure...also try Muscs Kublai Khan
Yeah thanks, but dont get me wrong. I dont expect a fragance to make me sexy. Its just that I love the effect of By Men of myself. Its like sex in a bottle to my nose. What is ME ??
Whahaha how stupid of me. I thought it was an abbreviation, just like GiT, CW, ADG, etc.

Eau de Hermes by Hermes. I smell like a stud when I wear this. Well...more of a stud than I normally smell like.
Musc Ravageur = musky doin it in the car sexy dirty
I think this is best answered by Shotcaller

Body Kouros Aftershave, at least in its original formulation. (I don't know that it has been tampered with, but just in case.) I applied it in requisite amounts to "cover the affected area," as the phrase goes in other contexts, walked into a bookstore, and evoked anonymous female head repositioning accompanied by cessation of conversation and followed by verbal... uh... ejaculation from a distance of some eight metres.

Whoops.. I have been married 15 years and if I was told what was masculine, naughty, etc. by my wife.. I would have bought a case of it by now.
Depending on your age, I heard that Viagra is coming out with a scent in the near future. Apparently, it has a woody basenote..

Similar to By Man - Prada Amber Homme
'Masculine and Anamalistic' - Zino, Kouros, Antaeus, maybe even M7.
Looking for: Andy Tauer - L'air du Desert Morocain & Incense Extreme
Check out my NEW Aussie sale / trade thread here -
Muscs Koublai Khan
Chanel Cuir de Russie
Aoud Cuir d'Arabie
Lauder for Men
None, by the way, smell remotely like By Man.
Bond no. 9: H.O.T. Always
It's the civet and the patchouli.
It's Angel Men for me. If you can pull it if with confidence, it can work miracles.
The balance of the sweet with the lavender and patchouli makes this unlikely fragrance a winner.
This will make you feel like a sexy beast, baby! YEAH! (Austin Powers)

How animalistic is Terre d´Hermes ?
I find it sexy and masculine enough to add it here.
"Wow, I've never smelled anything like that before."
I'd have to say CDG 2Man or Narcisso Rodriguez For Him.
Okay not to start a new thread but Muscs Koubali Khan is very expensive and I have read on this site that Khiel's Orginal Musk is very comparable to it so I was wondering would you consider Khiel's Musk to be in the Sexy Masculine Animalistic category or is it to tame to be considered in the same breath and Muscs Koubali Khan.
probably jpg le male yet i dont have many fragrances and didnt used to apply good at all until about 3 weeks ago. on christmas though im getting loads and i think that chanel allure might get me quite alot of compliments.

Seek not the favor of the multitude; it is seldom got by honest and lawful means. But seek the testimony of few; and number not voices, but weigh them. - Immanuel Kant
I wore Rive Gauche at work yesterday and got 2 compliments on it.
Im wearing Marc Jacobs Fig today and 2 women both complimented me on it
Shame it wasnt two guys tho
Finally gave in and took a whif of the Khiel's Original Musk and it may be like Musc Koubali Khan or some others (which I haven't smelled) but it reminded me of a cheaper musk fragrance but I couldn't figure it out Jovan Musk for Men, Aqua Velva Musk, or Coty Musk......I know they are all very similiar but the Khiel's was almost identical to one of these. Anyway I didn't but the Khiel's edt I did purchase the bodywash though. Anyway which one of these cheaper Musk does Khiel's remind you of?
Years ago (early to late 90s) I used to wear Tuscany by Aramis and would get so many compliments from the girls at work etc. Unfortunately I cant wear it now because it gives me a violent headache.
These days, my staple is Dior Homme - have all 3 but not Sport - and I do get the occasional comment, but not to the extent I used to with Tuscany.
