I've received many comments while wearing Cool Water. This is coming from a guy who wears Yang, Hanae Mori, and Fahrenheit. These three colognes are excellent but the ladies seem to prefer Cool Water on me.
Recieved a compliment yesterday while wearing By Kilian's Straight to Heaven...i guess it is true what they say about this cologne that women love it.
Halston Unbound @ Tjmaxx paying for some cheap toys for my nephew....Sales clerk says" What are you wearing?" Me : "Halston Unbound" Clerk : "It smells really good!"
Come on, she's working at TJ Maxx, clearly such a lower-class palette would find Unbound to smell good. Lower class synthetic swill if you ask me.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but I always, no matter how much I use or what crowd I'm with, get compliments when wearing Burberry Touch. I have come to believe that it is BT's subtle but appealing nature that garners so many compliments and comments from men and women. I find it to be very clean and sophisticated in a modern way.
Got my first compliments a few days ago at a party! Unfortunately, I had to wear about 6-8 sprays of A*Men for anyone to notice it (fragrances don't project very well on me). A guy said I smelled "like man" (I guess I"ll take that as a compliment), a girl said I smelled like peppermint candy (compliment also?) and one girl sniffed me and said "mmm...".
Received a huge compliment on Domenico Caraceni Pour Homme (1913) Saturday night. This person also knows of my hobby and said it was the best one that they smelt on me.

Forgot to mention as well, I received a compliment on Eau d'Italie Paestum Rose not too long ago.
Got one wearing YSL's Opium PH Eau d'Orient a few weeks back...

I have been wearing Bond No 9 New Haarlem since it came out a few years ago and just discovered Coney Island during this past holiday.. I have been wearing it for this past weekend and have gotten tons of compliments on it!! I will stick with New Haarlem in the winter but will rock Coney Island all summer!!
Chanel Allure H'omme Sport and Bond No. 9 New Haarlem always stop the ladies for me!!
I received 3 compliments from women while out and about this evening from 1.) a waitress ("You smell good enough to bite"), 2.) a young woman assisting me in a natural foods store ("I'd hang out with a guy who smelled like you.") and a woman I sat next to on a bench ("You smell yummy.")
Oh, ya, and a dude at the gas station ("Sir, your cologne is killer.")
The culprit: Bulgari Aqua pour homme MARINE.
Don't wear it much because I can never smell it. In fact, hadn't picked it up much since last summer. Never received too many remarks on Aqua Marine prior to tonight.

Snarky is as snarky does.
It may be a generational thing as well, women tend to associate certain scents with fathers / uncles / etc. and that plays into it as well.
