Diesel Fuel For Life for me
This is a great thread! (minus the few PAGES worth that that one dude destroyed)
It's really helped me figure out what kind of scents I want to start trying as I've just gotten into finding myself a signature fragrance
Thanks for everyone's input! I went though almost every page
Diesel Fuel For Life for me
If your sole purpose is to attract women, you will save a ton of money buying a 4.2 oz. Cool Water for 26 bucks from Amazon. It's like the AK-47 of colognes - it just works.

If your sole purpose is to attract women there are a lot of better things to focus on than frags. There's no magic in any of these bottles.
But this is always a fun thread to look in on, and I'm sure it's "stickied" because it fascinates men and it will keep coming up as a question if it isn't always sitting there.
I notice there's no "What frags attract men?" thread in the Female discussion forum. But there is a "What scents do chicks dig?" thread. LMAO

Xerjoff Mefisto, Carthusia Mediterraneo, Bois 1920 Classic, Lorenzo Dante Ferro Suite Collection and Odin Owari have all received compliments for me this year. Xerjoff Mefisto probably the most

hey guys well i made this topic not for which gets you compliments but which do you find women appreciate most!! if its your girlfriend , or wife or just friends even strangers which do you find they like the most!!
well for me it has to be, body kouros, armani code ( girlfriend loves it) , and rochas man
Erm its the same as the sticky thread at the top of the page , you just worded it different thats all
I think this is basically looking for similar responses to the sticky as Pour_Monsieur mentioned so I'm going to move it over there. I'm sure you'll find many opinions there that will help!
I'm a colognosaurus. Rawr!
Gendarme V and EDP
Guys tend to believe that a good cologne will jumpstart their sex life, and that is so ridiculous.
I myself came to love frags because they make me feel good, but they're not the only thing that makes me feel good. It's a hobby that I enjoy and that's it.
Nothing wrong with getting compliments and sharing it with others. But if a woman notices your cologne, and compliments it, doesn't mean she wants to date you...it could mean that it gives you an oportunity to start a conversation, but from that point it's up to a persons eloquence, intelligence, humor and body language, not a cologne itself + not to mention I never needed a cologne to make conversation with women, no man should need that.

I'll give you an example to just how the actual fragrance DOES NOT make a difference.
Guy "A" works at the office and uses Green Irish Tweed as his fragrance. He's quiet, not very social, always has a sour look on his face.
Guy "B" works at the same office and uses "(pick any cheap fragrance)" as his fragrance. He's social, approachable, communicative and always has a smile on his face.
Which guy do you think will get more compliments on his fragrance?
I can bet anything that guy B will get more compliments.
It's a fun thread to read, but don't take the statistics too serious.
I have found that I get the most compliments when I wear JPG, however I also have had some when I wear Boss so who can tell what is better than others. I think its all to do with being in the right place at the right time :-)
Everyone have a lovely day

Finally, a compliment from my lady friend with Bleecker Street today.
On Friday, I received a nice compliment on my cologne from an eyeglass tech at my optometrist office. She even asked what I was wearing .
It was Versace Pour Homme 2008, after about 8 hours since application.

But, what would happen if Guy "B" used Green Irish Tweed, Rive Gauche or Terre d Hermes instead of using that cheap fragrance? He will get even more compliments (right attitude + good smelling perfume).
And if Guy "A" uses the cheap fragrance, he will get less compliments.
So, not all depends of the perfume (e.g. attitude, look), but i guess it can help.
I agree with the quote but I think being personable was kind of a given.
The question here assumes other factors are in check: Dress, personality etc. Now that that has been somewhat clarified.... continue
who cares its fun seeing what intriques the most! ;p whatever your beauty is! focus on adding more scents
Tell Hugo, he isnt boss anymore.
lmao gotta love these new posts^
All this is most amusing too me...Hahaha!!! I'll bet you that the fragrance which garners a man the most compliments is the fragrance in which he feels most confident. I've come to believe that a cologne, no matter how good, is only as good as the attitude of the gentleman wearing it. When one is feeling good and confident, a fragrance is merely a finishing touch that compliments one's own personality. Find something that really suits you and wear it with pride and satisfaction - that's the best way to get compliments!
I went out yesterday wearing Odin Owari.
I had one compliment at the bus stop from an old lady, a compliment in the post office from a younger women, I heard someone say to her friend when I walked past "He smells nice" and then even a mate in the local pub at dinner time said that smells fresh and wanted to know where to purchase it from, so a big thumbs up for Odin
+1 For Diesel Fuel For Life
The only one I've gotten an actual response from, besides my wife, is Escape. The one that my wife seems to prefer is Grey Flannel. I told her what I was wearing when she smelled it on me and told me I smelled nice, but when she smelled it where I had applied it (in the bathroom) she gagged. She said it didn't seem like the same fragrance and was convinced that it wasn't until I opened the bottle for her. I don't really care for the stuff (I have a 50 ml bottle of it and don't plan on getting any more).
I got the most compliments with,
