Terre d'Hermes and AdP Colonia are great ones too. In fact, I like Terre d'Hermes a lot better than Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet (I normally don't like to poo poo their house. They are my favorite fragrance producer). I teach high school and one of my students smiled at me one day and told me "Mr. Texican, you smell like lemons and sugar!" I was wearing Colonia.

For Live Jazz and d'Orange Verte, I have to be doing something. They are too energetic to use for just sitting on a couch. Safari almost seems to encourage me to sit around like a slug. So, its also a great work frag

I really don' know. I usually wear something different everyday. But I have my fun senseless scents I wear on menial task days:

Jovan Sex Appeal - I really really do believe what the box says IT'S TRUE DAMMIT! . . . one day
Michael Jordan Cologne - My J never misses on the courts with this baby (it bricks quite often though)
Claiborne Spark (which surprisingly gets me more compliments than anything aside from Datura Noir and Amen - a scent I can't stand now)
New West - makes me feel like a MAN

    Cheers,
    Al

SMW is lovely, almost too lovely in my opinion, to be worn casually. And like all Creeds, expensive. I've considered buying a bottle, but I think Penhaligon's, Guerlain, and Hermes are more towards my style.

    DKNY Red Delicious (Winter)

And my bottle of Bulgari Aqua got here tonight. I can't attest to its having a particularly briny, oceanic smell like I expected. It smells like things we associate with the ocean, but not the ocean itself like I thought from reading the reviews.

Clearly, I've been smelling too many niche fragrances that when they say something like "OCEAN" they mean the full-on fishy, low-tide, organic smell of bilgewater. I'm surprised Monsieur Malle hasn't spotted the hole in the market.

I agree that it's almost too nice to wear only to non-special occasions. But then again, I could never see myself wear it to formal occasions.
