Question Male equivalent to Lanvin Eclat d'Arpège

Like the title says, is there a similar non-niche cologne for men?

    Welcome to Basenotes!
I don't have an answer to your question other than I would suggest for you to read the reviews on Ed'A.
There are a few other fragrances mentioned that Ed'A has been compared to. Some may come across more masculine or at least unisex. Hopefully those will give you some clues.
What I understood is you'll be looking for green/light froral/light musk.

Why not just wear Eclat d'Arpège if you like it?

It looks like there are comparisons to Dolce and Gabanna Light Blue (womens version) - a fragrance that many people consider unisex (well, except Renato )

Haha, because it's a favorite of my mother.
    It would be weird

Is Allure Homme Edition Blanche green/light floral/light musk? Or Armani White He?
    Perhaps 212 Men?

    Try "Star Walker" by MontBlanc.

I may be wrong but doesn't Lanvin make an Arpege Pour Homme?Or is that different. I saw it at Marshalls.

There's an Arpege pour homme, not an Eclat d'Arpège. Looking at the pyramid (with anise and vanilla) and reviews ("for colder months") here on Basenotes I think it is something completely different?

    For giving you an idea:
here you find characteristics of Eclat.. http://www.basenotes.net/ID10212085.html

    Anyway, I appreciate your input!

Some other recommendations are also welcome!

Thanks. Sorry, I just had seen it and knew there was the male version. Good luck.

It looks like some people equate Eclat d'Arpege to Dolce and Gabanna Light Blue. Some people then seem to equate Dolce and Gabanna Light Blue to Versace Man Eau Fraiche.

The notes for Versace Man Eau Fraiche are: White Lemon, Rosewood, Carambola, Tarragon, Cedar Leaves, Clary Sage, Musk, Amber, Sycamore Wood

Yes, another nice recommendation. Eclat is a more sophisticated classy relative of femminine light blue. And Versace Eau Fraiche is a classy masculine counterpart for Eclat.

I don't see the Dolce and Gabanna Light Blue and Versace Man Eau Fraiche. I owned both back to back and the Versace Man Eau Fraiche had a sweetness/freshness that was very nice and smooth in the drydown. Very pleasant. Light Blue didn't have that to me.

I am referring to Dolce and Gabanna Light Blue, not Dolce and Gabanna Light Blue pour Homme

Which one are you referring to?

the only other scent which could probaably overshadow the Beauty of Eclat d'Arpège is Tresor by Lancome. nothin else comes close.

Alright, I'll check out the Versace Eau Fraiche
Are there others that come to mind?

Jenson, I remember my dad once bought Tresor as a birthday present for my mother, but she never used it.. Think she only likes more "subtle" fragrances, whereas Tresor is quite strong?
