Wink Scents similiar to Terre D'Hermes?

I find that Terre D'Hermes has really nice smell.

Is there any similiar fragrances to D'Hermes?

I see that Terre D'Hermes has these notes:
Wooded Harmony, Vegetal and Mineral Cedars, Vetiver, Grapefruit, Peppers

And these are my scents BTW :

    Welcome!

Terre d"Hermes is similar to Hermes' Eau des Merveilles (marketed for women, but I know a man who wears it very well.)

Also, you will find a similar "salty mineral" note (or "wet stone" note) in Solo/Loewe. The two fragrances also share orange and pepper.

    Ah, I got you....

I recommend you immediately puchase a bottle of Hermes Un Jardin Sur Le Nil.
Same bold, long lasting grapefruit, backed by alot of green mango.
A fruitier, more unisex Terre D'Hermes, but no where near too sweet.
    Go. Now. Smell.

Usually i buy with blind eyes. Because there aren't much choice of perfumes to buy in Mongolia, i order it from the US and UK. I blindly bought Hermes and liked it.

Dunhill Pursuit is similar to TDH but more orangey and fresh. It also has a bit of incense thrown in.
Kenzoair has a similar 'earthy' feel but is a bit more synthetic, and is more focused on vetiver and anise.
Personally, I prefer TDH to both.

Un Jardin sur le Nil is a unisex frag.
I usually use Cartier Déclaration as an alternative for Terre d’Hermès.
By the way, all three (Un Jardin sur le Nil, Déclaration and Terre d’Hermès) have the same perfumer: J.C.Ellena. It is just randomness, of course…

Miller Harris Citron Citron is pretty similar. Although it miht be a bit hard to find, and too expensive to get based on where you are located.

If you like Terre d'Hermes, try to order Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche, the new limited-edition Allure. The opening is a lot like TdH.

Agreed. To a a point. I think the Montale is slightly lighter and less complicated than the Terre d'Hermes. I find nothing rich and deep in the Montale - which isn't a slam against the Montale. I kind of like that it lacks the heaviness of the TdH. On my skin anyway.

I don't see this, myself. I tried L'Air du Desert Marocain recently, and I definitely got an immediate impression of dryness and of air blowing over sand (no idea how Andy Tauer created that note). Neither of these are present at all in Terre d'Hermès, which is much more earthy. I don't think there is much of anything that is similar.

Concerning buying blind, you can get samples of almost anything online. Of course, since you are shipping to Mongolia, I would go with one of the larger and more diverse providers who can pack lots of samples in a single shipment (e.g. theperfumedcourt.com), to reduce your per-sample shipping cost.

If you like Terre D'Hermes, and you can't try any of these recommendations, it would be better not to buy anything else. Because Terre is a true masterpiece. I think J.C. Ellena said the last word in this style by Terre.
" Human beings are members of a whole,
In creation of one essence and soul.

If one member is afflicted with pain,
    Other members uneasy will remain.

If you have no sympathy for human pain,
The name of human you cannot retain."

??? There's very litte in common with Jardin Sur le Nil

Many people have reccomended Montale Red Vetyver, and that's my choice as well. Red Vetyver and Terre are very, very similar after a few minutes, but Red Vetyver lasts longer, and is sweeter and darker, and less dry than Terre.

both are good...Red Vetyver or Terre d´Hermés...I tested them both for 2 weeks now...I can´t say which one is better or stronger...TdH is also a long lasting fragrance...TdH got more changes through the day and RV is more linear...it´s your choice which one you choose...for me, I bought TdH again :-)

An interesting anecdote about this fragrance. I recently converted some of my 4ml atomizers to newer fragrances by first cleaning them out with Artisan's Alcohol. The atomizer which previously contained the Terre d´Hermès required twice as many cleanings as the others. It's tough stuff!

1st, if you look at SaikhaNBayar collection, he has many scents that are much wetter and sweeter than Terre D'Hermes, so my recommendation takes that very much into account.
That dominant, long lasting grapefruit/bitter orange top ? Some middle/basenotes ?
There is more than a little common ground between these two.
I would argue they are unisex and masculine versions of the same family.
Others must feel the same way, or am I alone ?

I agree with the recommendation of Dunhill Pursuit, I originally bought it before Terre because it was similar, though the incense note is more pronounced, and I still didn't "get" TdH at the time.

My husband and I recently tried both Terre d'Hermes (I bought him a bottle!) and The Different Company's Sel de Vetiver (I WANT a bottle!). I love them both and find them to be very similar. Sel de Vetiver is much less woody, however, and has a cleaner, slightly sharper "feel" to me. Here are the notes:

Haitian Vetiver, Patchouli, Cardamom, Geranium, Livèche, Iris, Grapefruit, Ylang-Ylang

you can test all different fragrances, but Red Vetyver by Montale is nearly the same as Terre d´Hermés. Everybody should test RV, than you all know what I mean!!!

I think a lot of basenoters don´t know about the new Red Vetyver by Montale, because if they would...they would talk more about the new Montale.
And lot of basenoters voted for Terre d´Hermés for best fragrance (8th basenote award), but the hype is not here???

I'm sorry but Terre D' Hermes and Red Vetyver have nothing in common. I love Red Vetyver and hate Terre D' Hermes. If they had something in common I would like them both. Red Vetyver is a smoking hot spicy Montale with super lasting power and major sillage. TdH is another wimpy Jean Claude Ellena watered down something I wouldn't wear if I found it in my "Christmas Stocking"
