Default Today I purchased Givenchy Pi Neo!

As one fellow basenoter already pointed out, Fragrance Outlet which is found throughout the US in certain outlet malls now carries the new Pi Neo by Givenchy in both 1.7 and 3.3 ounces. They apparently will get it before the major retail outlets which carry Givenchy fragrances. I bought a large bottle and I really like it. Smells great in IMO.

Heh, sounds like it "fell off the truck" before it got to the departments stores.

Yeah, I thought it was very strange when I saw it there over the weekend. And it is even stranger that it is already being sold at a discounted store/price even before it hits the major department stores. I am not sure that is a good sign for Pi Neo.

I personally did not think it was anything special or bottle worthy.

This is the fragrance equivalent of "straight to video."

I tried it,and disliked it, but I'm bias. I detest the original. I found this one has that similar synthetic "mall fragrance" accord. Actually I found it more tolerable than the original, but more boring. The original at least had the balls to take the whole vanilla powerhouse thing to new heights.

Please, those who love either version, don't be insulted. Feel free to enjoy and wax poetic about these frags. I have learned long ago that fragrance is a very subjective thing.

I agree with you Slim. I am not the biggest Pi fan, but I thought it was unique/different at the time it was released. I didn't find Pi Neo horrible, it just seems to me like another generic, boring, fresh-type fragrance - one more in the already crowded market.
