Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, ...... Most Loved Powerhouses:

    Yatagan
    Kouros
    Eucris
    Fendi Uomo

I'm always surprised when 3rd Man pops up on lists like this (and it always does). I really don't see that fragrance as being at all a masculine powerhouse.

    Parfum d'Habit
    Knize Ten
    Patou pour Homme
    Black Aoud

    Least Loved:

    Eau des Iles

This question made me realize that if I dislike a fragrance it's usually because it's too wimpy/boring and not because it's too potent.

Surely you're not saying that Eau des Iles is wimpy/boring, Vibert! That's one thing I've never heard that fragrance being accused of!

I am going to second (or third. lost count) Rive Gauche.

I think of it as very masculine and very strong but not in your face kind of a fragrance

Back in the 80s Ive used them excessively, later in the 90s I hated them thoroughly, but now Im learning to love them again. Maybe one day we will consider those years (70`s/80s) as "Golden Age of masculine perfumery", maybe......
    So far Ive rediscovered:

    Antaeus
Van Cleef & Arpels pour Homme
    Derby
    Azzaro pour Homme
    Kouros
    Paco Rabanne pour Homme
    Jules
    Yatagan
    Santos
    Jil Sander Scent 79 men
    Trussardi Uomo
    Equipage
    Gentleman

    New macho-scents I like:

    Xpec Original
    French Lover
    Rive Gauche
    Lonestar Memories
    Lui
    Querelle
