    Most Loved Powerhouses:

    Yatagan
    Kouros
    Eucris
    Fendi Uomo

I'm always surprised when 3rd Man pops up on lists like this (and it always does). I really don't see that fragrance as being at all a masculine powerhouse.

This question made me realize that if I dislike a fragrance it's usually because it's too wimpy/boring and not because it's too potent.

I think of it as very masculine and very strong but not in your face kind of a fragrance

Back in the 80s Ive used them excessively, later in the 90s I hated them thoroughly, but now Im learning to love them again. Maybe one day we will consider those years (70`s/80s) as "Golden Age of masculine perfumery", maybe......

Van Cleef & Arpels pour Homme
    Derby

The vicious top notes tend to make me feel slightly queazy, and I can smell it in a room where used it 2 days before. My bottle is going to last a very long time.

God, I hated that stuff. Had a bottle of it way back in '97 and threw it away after a week. It smells too much like the reincarnation of Joop.

OK. I now officially hate Van Cleef & Arpels por Homme. I've tried to like it, but it just smells like FDS to me. Sorry, I'm moving on.

I love Yatagan, Basala and Azzaro PH.
I also love Eau Sauvage and Havana, but don't think of them as particularly macho.

    I love Yatagan and Anteaus

I don't care much for Drakkar Noir... too many people bathed in it I knew and I got sick of it.
