Question Office scent in hot & humid climate

Hi. I'm fairly new with my fragrance obsession (i.e., wanting to buy a new bottle everyday) and find Basenotes very helpful.

I used to live in NYC but am relocating to Hong Kong for work. I don't know if the scents I own will work in that tropical weather. It's like 'you go outside for 1 minute and you feel the sweat running down your back' kind of hot. Actually in Hong Kong anywhere that is indoors they are blasting the air conditioner 24/7 so you could say that the office is actually cold and dry... but, you know?

Right now I own and like:
Christian Dior Eau Sauvage Fraicheur Cuir
    Prada Ambre Pour Homme
    Creed Millesime Imperial
    Estee Lauder Azuree
    A*Men Pure Coffee
    Bond No. 9 West Side
Yves Rocher Voile d'Ambre Eau Fraiche
    Bvlgari Omnia
    Thierry Mugler Cologne

I work in a law firm so it is a pretty conservative environment. I don't want to offend anyone at work (I have a bad experience about 10 years ago, when I was studying for the Bar, when someone came to me in the library and told me to cut down on the perfume -- it was Calvin Klein Eternity. I felt immediately remorseful), just smell good in a subtle way. I've thought about not wearing scents at all for work, but I love fragrances too much for that..

I would really appreciate your ideas! Thanks!

    I would suggest trying:

    Eau de Cartier Concentree
Gendarme or Gendarme 20 or Gendarme Sky or Gendarme Carriere
    Puro Lino

From what you already own, I think Mugler Cologne and Milliseme Imperial would work for you.

Congratulations and good luck with the move!

I'd suggest you try all the Bvlgaris. I find them extremly subtle & tasteful (except Omnia - it smells divine but would be more appropriate for a nice dinner or the bedroom, rather than an office!)
Also D&G Light Blue (females) and Versace Man eau Fraiche I find subtle and great for warmer weather.
Looking for: Andy Tauer - L'air du Desert Morocain & Incense Extreme

Keep in mind that in Asia they usually go for perfume of the big well known fashion names and they are all lighter variations of the scents we know.

I think you can say farewell to a few scents there in that list until winter time, for instance Angel will be very overpowering. Trust me you wouldn't even want to wear it yourself in that heat. I just got back from shanghai and the heat together with the humidity makes everything very cloying.

L'Artisan Patchouli Patch and MPG Sanguine Muskissime might work for you.

Lanvin Homme is a good choice, I think, as is Barbier des Isles.

Maybe something citrusy but classy, like Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, Estee Lauder Tuberose Gardenia.

Thank you for all the helpful suggestions! I cannot wait to go and try out all of them..

There was an article in Now Smell This yesterday, of the same topic (though not limited to office scents).

Singapore's as humid if not worse off than HK. Bvlgari Extreme and LDIssey are the few that never turn sour when some pesrpiration tries to ruin your smelling good for the day
