It is something that I like a lot on a lady, but to me is too feminine for a guy.
Thread: Moschino: I Love Love - Unisex? |
I've been doing some research on citrus frags, and this one (Moschino - I Love Love) comes up because it is very well liked. The 12 reviews are all positive, and it sounds like something I would like. However it is listed as a feminine frag, and I haven't seen anyone indicating that it could be unisex. Before I scratch it off my list I thought I would first see what you guys think about it.

Yeah, I have to agree with the above. My wife wears it well, and I love the grapefruit opening, but the white florals and sweetness make it tough for me to wear.
Just my opinion though. I imagine that there are men who could wear this well without problems, or who ignore the whole gender thing. I agree that you should wear what you like, and i get away with a lot of traditionally female fragrances, but I am also a realist. And in my reality one does not wear this perfume to work with prison inmates.

Have you tried Uomo? by Moschino? It is one hell of a masculine fragrance and very, very sexy. I have gotten compliments on it from both sexes. I know that Luca Turin thinks it is junk, but that is just his opinion. I was once tempted to adopt it as my signature scent.
I think a man who could pull off wearing D & G Light Blue (ladies' version) could also pull off Cheap n' Chic I Love Love/Moschino. They are similar to me, and they were formulated by the same "nose": Olivier Cresp. (Add to this Versace Man Eau Fraiche. The "triplet" in this spree of Monsieur Cresp's.)
Here is a (partial?) list of his creations:

Please scroll down til you find his name on the alpha listing.
NYCboy: I, too, am a fan of Uomo? Moschino. Sexy stuff, I agree.

Snarky is as snarky does.
I'm a fan of the Cheap and Chic scents, especially L'Eau di Cheap and Chic, most women I've bought it for love it. I didn't think as much of I Love Love, even though I bought a few bottles for my female cousins.
This is a female scent, or a scent worn by males who want to smell feminine. I'm not sure why you'd bother asking the question, as most of the reviews are by women. The reason no one mentioned "unisex" is because it isn't. It does go pretty cheaply though. Down here they usually sell double packs for the price of one.
