Firstly I want to thank both TwoRoads & Schachman for introducing me to this sleeper
I feel that i really shouldn't be the one to start this thread but seeing that poor old 1776 hasn't got an appreciation thread here it is .
This old timer is simply amazing !
I new from the very first spritz , that a cologne found me that i would use for the rest of my days .
Anybody been loving this classic recently ?

Isn't it amazing how it never showed up in my advanced title search ?
If you get time go back & add Russian Leather to your title , that way down the line when a new person searches for it will show .

Then imagine it costs $45.00 for one ounce. That will leave you with seven one-ounce presents that cost you nothing.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, ...... I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost

i just don't like having such large bottles of scents around.....especially as a 'blind buy'

everso, I don't blame you. I bought a bottle and after testing I've decided that I like it, but I probably don't like it enough to keep it (trying to get the collection smaller). But just try selling an 8 oz. bottle on the secondary market...

I do like the 1776 and I thank two roads for turning me on to it. Another sleeper for me at least is Royal Brier. I can't get enough of that stuff. It too comes in a big splash bottle. I don't think I will have any trouble using it though. Believe it or not 1776 smells like fresh hot cinnimon toast to me. I don't get all flowery with describing fragrances. I just say what I smell. Call me a blunt instrument if you will.

I am sure if you put it on the for sale board here someone will gladly take it off your hands.
