Default Versace The Dreamer Alternative for the impatient

I love The Dreamer it is one of if not my favorite scents...........but there is one problem it takes a good 15-60 minutes for the top notes to drydown to the scent that I love which has great sillage and longevity on me. While, The Dreamer will always have a place in my collection I was wondering what are some alternatives to The Dreamer that are in the same vein or have a similiar scent that I won't have to wait so long to enjoy. Also I would prefer suggestions for Men's or Unisex fragrances I have yet to and probably won't ever wear a fragrance marketed to women only. I know it is an old school way of thinking but......

Some people will say that Dolce and Gabanna will do the trick. Others will recomend LeMale.
    I am going with Dzing!

I suggest if you're that impatient, blow-dry your frag after application. That should burn off the top notes in a minute or so.

Blowing can indeed help a little, but I doubt it will help that much for The Dreamer. LOL.

I found a great combination for this kind of frag. I mix one part Bogart Pour Homme with about 5 parts of Samba Red for men (which is a cherry-ish skin musk) and that's all I need to create this kind of fragrance (and not much in the way of top notes)!

You realize I was talking about using a blow-dryer right? The heated, high-velocity air should do away with the top notes in no time for ANY perfume.

I find that if I spray real close to my skin so that the frag actually "puddles" a bit, I don't get hit with the top notes near as much if I spray it further away from my skin or spread it around wet skin like others have suggested in this forum. It may be my imagination but it seems to work for me.

    I enjoy those top-notes.
Are you not entertained??? Is this not why you are here??

I'd highly recommend Salvador Dali's Laguna Homme as an alternative to Dreamer.

I don't like the topnotes of it either. For some reason, they remind me of the smell of those little black pellets they sell at firecracker stands that grown into snakes when you light them on fire. I know. It's totally random. I get the same thing from Realities for men.
