Happy birthday to lil' Emily!
Ever since she started playing with daddy's decants and insisted on sampling perfumes Emily Rose good_life has striken fear into the hearts of noses and industry executives. One of the toughest perfume critics in the business celebrates her second birthday today, a milestone in a career inextricably bound up with smells ever since she became an early adopter of the word "stink" almost six months ago. The perfume world will be relieved to hear that she has meanwhile added "fine" to her vocabulary as well. Ms. Emily Rose has admitted to a particular predelection for vanilla, as well as lavender, but her current circumstances make her fearless of classical civet notes as well. A seasoned pro she's not prone to spilling the beans, but we must assume her choice for perfume of the year will probably be Jicky. Possible runner ups may include chocolate-heavy gourmands and soft skin scents with lactic notes.
Ms. Emily Rose is known for her edcuated, no-nonsense attitude to perfume journalism

OMG it seems like a couple months ago that she was born. Times flies.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EMILY ROSE!
Anyone who loves civet is okay with me.
Birthday presents! New bottles of perfume?
I hope I would pass the Emily Rose test and smell "fine."
Happy Birthday Emily.
Don't settle for anything less that Petit Guerlain. If you don't get it wrapped exactly how you like it, you could always throw your toys out of the pram and storm off.
And congrats good life senior - you have made it through those two tough years. It's all really easy from now on .
Congratulations on your daughter's birthday!
Enjoy every minute. They grow up so fast, if you blink you'll have missed it.
My daughter is 30. It is still hard for me to believe - seems only yesterday that she was Emily's age.
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, and sorry I could not travel both and be one traveler, long I stood and looked down one as far as I could to where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, ...... I shall be telling this with a sigh somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I -- I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost
Happy Birthday Emily I hope you will eventually join us and our discussions.
Ah, the joys of a young nose! When everything in the world smells new and mysterious and wonderful. And Emily Rose so lucky to have a father who can teach her how to see with that nose!
It's like skiing or language. You are so wise to start her early.
Congratulations! Two, three, and four are wonderful years.
Happy Birthday, Emily!
I love cologne.

Happy Birthday, Emily Rose! I hope you like the smell of your namesake! It's one of the best and your father was kind to name you after such a wonderful scent that can be enjoyed in so many ways. Here's to another year of learning cool stuff, having fun, and just enjoying life. It's great to be 2! (well except for the occasional tantrum, I suppose...)

Life is good. Our children reaffirm that. Happy Birthday to Emily Rose and a big, knowing smile from me to her daddy.

"Are you a wizard?"
"Are you a man?"
"Then what are you?"

Better late than never:
Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Geburtstag, Emily Rose!!!
Being a father of a three year old daughter and a two year old son, I am still asking myself, how Emilys father manages it to post regularly his well-versed comments in this forum. ;-)
I hate to admit it, but given her lineage she's probably a more astute perfume critic at two than I am at 53.
Congratulations, Tom and Emily!
We're anxiously awaiting her reviews.
PS: Wow, I just realized that Emily was the worthy recipient of my 700th post.
