    Default Peppery, warm mens fragrance

I am looking for a peppery and warm mens fragrance. Wood/herbal top notes preferred.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

Bvlgari Pour Homme Extrême would fit the bill nicely.

Rococo Homme by JOOP! comes to my mind.

I think this is a obvious one, but D&G Pour Homme comes to mind with its sweet pepperry notes, however i believe this lacks the herbal notes you seek.

I never thought of Noir Épices as warm, but you might want to try Piper Nigrum by Lorenzo Villoresi

Hey narcus, it really "heats me up" when I wear it (effect of the spices?). In fact I can only wear it in colder months, as it is "too much" during "our" Middle European summer.

I haven't sample this one yet. My sample will arrive Monday 9/8. It should be worth checking out because it fits the description of what you were looking for.

Isos by Farmacia SS. Annunziata - Luckyscents description goes like this:

In a word: fierce. A cobweb clearing dose of clove and mint leads to one of the most intensely peppery fragrances we have ever encountered. This is freshly cracked pepper, strong and addictive. If you've ever asked the waiter to just keep cracking that pepper mill because you didn't want that amazing wave of prickling scent to end, you will love this. A dry base of cedar and vetiver add a touch of earthiness and warmth, but mostly they add strength to the essential spiciness without adding a hint of sweetness. Austere and bold, this is all about the pepper and we love it that way.

    Notes;
Ceylon cloves, Tunisian mint, myrrh, Madagascar pepper, guaic wood, vetiver & cedar

I agree with Narcus, Piper Nigrum by Lorenzo Villoresi is a great sugestion. Two more: Hermessence: Poivre Samarcande by Hermes and Ormonde Man by Ormande Jayne.

Actually, I am asking because I've sampled Hermessence Poivre Samarcande, and love it. But that's just too much money (can't find it anywhere anyway).

Villoresi, Piper Nigrum (starts herbally cool with pepper and gets increasingly warmer and balsamic through the day)

Cotswold Perfumery, Amber is another nice one.

Then you should really try Ormande Man. One of the only fragrances I've tried, that replicated that same warm, peppery vibe (although OM throws in a dash of oud).

Another one that I just skin tested last week for the first time, that I just remembered, is gs02 by Biehl Parfumkunstwerke.

From day one on I was fascinated by its uniqueness. I find it cool and metallic like Azzarro Chrome during the first hour. Pepper belonging to the 'hot' spices should actually give a warm effect. I don't know why I don't get the full service from it here, but I consoled myself with the notions reflected in some of the EN reviews (Pluran, TeflonDog, Robyogi) whereas other reviewers confirm its warmth. It's hard to interpret the Edition's own position. I love their fragrance map even though I do not fully understand it. I remember that there were split opinions also in the earliest discussions on BN. Aside from the additional information Turin supplies in The Guide I find his interpretation very enlightening. Maybe it's the secret of the other spices, like clove.

Of all I know definitely L'Artisan Poivre Piquant. Almost milky, warm, kind of sweet and peppery. Not my cup of tea, but it perfectly matches your description.
