    Default L'Artisan Parfumeur being sold?

I just read on another forum that Fox Paine, the corporation that owns L'Artisan, Penhaligon's and Erno Lazo, are in the process of cashing in on the successes of their 3 niche brands. No information about a potential buyer, but given what sales like this have meant to other brands, does this mean its time to stock up on our favorite L'Artisan fragrances?

    No.

This is an old story from the end of 2007. L'Artisan, Penhaligon's and some other company were put up for sale. No sale has ever happened and it may not even be in the works.

Those companies were holdings of a subsidiary called Cradle Holdings which is owned by Fox Paine. L'Artisan is no longer a part of that subsidiary. It may be an independent company now. That one point I'm not sure of.

At least Jour de Fête and Sautes d'Humeur coffret have been discontinued (and Dzing! in 50 ml bottle but I think that happened last year). This might be old news but I only learned about yesterday.

Wait, so the Jour de Fete being discontinued is confirmed?
Any word on any of the others in their line?

At least it has vanished from L'Artisan website and most online shops, too.
