Default Let's talk about some firsts: tea, fig, hedione etc.

It is often said that Bulgari Au Thé Vert tea accord became the inspiration for CK One and fragrances from there on. The question is, did perfumers try the concept of tea before Bulgari ATV?

We see the fig accord everywhere from Chrome Legend to Figue Iris of Guerlain. Premier Figuier of L'artisan Parfumeur seems like the first fragrance to have the fig accord, but again, was this concept attempted before even at a marketing level?

Hedione was apparently first used by Roudnitska in Eau Sauvage by Dior.

    Dihydromyrcenol in Drakkar Noir?

I wonder which fragrance was the first to use modern raw materials like galaxolide or iso e super.

Any other firsts to talk about?

    Calone - Escape.
Vanillin Jicky. Is it the first synthetic material used as a perfume too?
Leau d Issey first true aquatic?
    Alain Delon first celebrity perfume?

What about Horizon? Smells quite marine to me, with lavender, and it's been around a long time.

Oh yeah, Calone! I think that New West for Her (1990) used Calone a year before Escape (1991).
