Default Really Cheap Fragrances. What's the Deal?

So I have been doing some research and came about many fragrances that are dirt cheap either online or in stores. I am wondering why many are so cheap. Do they use cheaper ingredients, or do they just not spend money on advertising so they are able to sell them at a low price? Perhaps they are cheap because they have been reformulated? Fragrances can be found for dirt cheap online these days but many of them have a high retail value and the ones I have listed have a low retail value. Here are just some on the top of my head. Please list others and your opinions on them.

    Jacomo de Jacomo
    Jacques Bogart
    Anucci
    Lomani
    Pierre Cardin

All of Adolfo Dominguez and Jacomo frags are available for about $15 at a store here. The Quorums for $9 and Bogarts for even lesser.

Well certain companies such as Creed and Montale have high costs per ml of perfume because of high quality ingredients (mysore sandalwood & agarwood oil), however, companies such as Bogart, Annuc, and Pierre Cardin have perfume cows, where they milk perfume from their udders, thus the milk-cheap prices!

Finally an explanation that makes sense.

I've always wondered why wearing Pierre Cardin makes me want to graze on the front lawn more than usual.

    I love Pierre Cardin.

Does that mean I have to cut down on dairy products?
