Default Perfumes of The East V: Alf Zohra Attar

So, here's another review of an Indian Attar. This time I am going to describe the Alf Zohra attar. If any of you folks have tried this one, please share your impressions too.

The Zohra attar is a lovely blend of green notes. The thing that really stands out in this one is how soapy it smells. It is the soapiest perfume I've ever tried. It is soapy not only in the sense that it is clean, but also in the sense that it smells like the base that is normally used to produce soaps. It starts with a sharp bright herbal note, which is quickly attenuated, and then the green soapiness takes control over the perfume. I believe it has eucaliptus in it (because it has a vaporish character, but different from pine), together with other green notes. The sillage is excellent and the longevity is moderate.

This attar makes me feel very clean and safe. It is the kind of perfume that you should wear when you want to give a good impression and appear immaculate. I do love it and I believe most basenoters would also love this one.

Tom, I know that there are a few online stores selling attars. Go to google, type attar, and see what happens. I got this as a gift, so I don't know where it is possible to buy it.
