Handsome watch! A navy croc band would probably look great but the one that’s on there looks very nice and kind of avant-garde. Enjoy!

The tan suede is very different and I think I’ll just rock it through the summer months.

My belated congratulations, liking both the watch brand, along with its mechanisms and history very much, as well/as much as the quite daring combination between the color of the dial and of the strap

Thank you all! It is a very unique combination. That might be why it was marked down! But Baume does offfer some quirky bands in this entry line.

Congrats! What a good deal, and I really like it, Chuck! I'd rock it with the band as is. The contrast with the band looks very nice!

Yep. I’m going to stick with this band. It is a very distinctive look that I’m getting used to.

    Thanks all for the kudos.

Found this sweet Tissot on clearance at the beach for $189. Another good work/church option, but THIS band WILL be replaced! I ordered a black croc to replace it.

Chuck, that is a beautiful watch. I'm prejudiced because I love Tissot. "Clean" is the key word with which I would describe Tissot design in general. There is an understated elegance to it and your watch also has a definite flair. Wear it happily.

Thanks! I agree with you. For the money, it's a very classy wear. I've owned a few now...even passed a couple on to my parents!

Lucky parents. I have vintage ones and they all keep excellent time with virtually no upkeep.

The Visodate models are some of the best in the Tissot lineup (in part because they use the vintage Tissot logo, which is much more attractive than the modern equivalent). You got that for a great price.

Yep. I love the retro-look. I gave my Mom the black and gold Visodate automatic model a few years back. I gave my Dad the Tradition Chrono model with white face and brown band.

What a great find and a great price. That will look great on a black croc. Is it a quartz movement?

Since I've commented on this thread a few times, I figured I'd add my (only) watch. I believe this is called the Hamilton Trent Automatic. Picked it up second hand about a year ago. Replaced the brown leather strap with black croc. It's a bit conservative for a 21 year old, but I enjoy it. Let me know what you guys think!

That watch was never old-man looking—pure class. If anything, it has a kind of futuristic look. Don't ever let anyone talk you out of being classy!
