That's my one.
Thread: Lets Talk Watches
Here's my Seiko:
Now, I got it because I wanted an affordable automatic watch (this was less than $140 shipped), and it's been great, but I really didn't like the fact that it looks almost too much like a Rolex. So I bought a Zodiac. And after a year, Zodiac's battery is dead, and I'm wearing the Seiko again. I have to say I have a growing appreciation for the Seiko. It's a good watch.
This is mine.

My newest watch purchase:
I was just browsing on ebay when I spotted this
I quite like it and if I manage to cap my perfume purchases, I am going to buy this.
I got a an
Audemars Piguet - Royal Oak
Panerai 312 (different custom made straps from far east Asia)
Rolex Milgauss GV
^Handsome PAM collection you got there.
Seem you have a thing for the 1950 case. Nice!!
Cx827, thanks it's the same watchmin different straps haha
^YEAH! i thought the second one had gold hands
Fragrances bit deep into my previous watch obsession. I have kept some from over the years.
Oris big Crown (original) - bought 1998
Omega Seamaster GMT - bought 2002 (40th birthday gift to self)
Tissot SeaStar 1000 Diver - bought 2006
Panerai Luminor GMT - bought 2 weeks ago
It has occurred to me that i like watches with black faces
I also have a Swatch, TW Steel Automatic and a Kenneth Cole watch, all in various states of disrepair. Will do good by them soon.

I will finish paying off some debts this year, Lord willing in May or June. All the debt I'll have left then is my house and our two cars. I know I'll want to reward myself with a new watch (paying cash, thank you very much!).
What I don't know is which brand? Something around $1500...
My two newest watches are ESQ by Movado brand. I'm slowly trying to inch up in the level of things I can buy. These will have to do until I can afford a Tag Carrera...
This one was the wedding gift I received from my wife.

@perfuaddict Put a strip of plastic tape on the watch/lugs area when you change the strap, it could prevent some accidental scratch from the screwdriver.
Am kicking myself for not picking this up during my Cathay Pacific flight to Australia. I noted down the model and thought that I shall be able to get it cheaper on ebay. I was so wrong as it appears it's a Cathay Pacific exclusive.
As a bassist, I just can't stand something big on my wrist. The Skagen slim style just works for me. I got one similar (or maybe the same?) to this Skagen in Taos on my honeymoon 15 years ago, and still wear it nearly every day.
This is my favorite I bought 3 years ago no longer available:
1. Montale Wild Aoud
2. Amouage Jubilation XXV
3. Montale Red Vetyver
4. Montale Aoud Lime
5. Le Labo Vetiver 46
Creativity is more than just being different. Anybody can plan weird; that's easy. What's hard is to be as simple as Bach. Making the simple, awesomely simple, that's creativity.

Got this White Kontas dress watch, which really gets no use at all.
I'm thinking something black in alligator would look nice. Quite long as I've got big wrists.
It's quite a slim watch so I guess nothing too thick or too padded. 18mm lugs.
Thoughts, comments and ideas appreciated...
Though it's still a long way to an Omega Seamaster, on the way, I've just picked up
Looks like watches is my new found love....Just spotted this the evil bay & I have set it within my sights already....
i am so ready to get a Michelle watch for me soon
I wear a 13-year old TAG. And just got a Tissot as a gift. Nice wrist blings in this thread, inc. a few replicas. Heh. Ballsy move. Spotting fakes from the real ones has been a recent obsession of mine...
Im going to buy a Omega Seamaster or a Tag Heuer Grand Carrera.
Its nice huh
Any Seiko lovers here who could help me achieve this customisation of SKX007?
I do realize *from the source of the pic* that the bezel in this picture has presumably been taken from SKX011J, however that bezel is not black on the ridged circumference. The bracelet, I've found is Gold Steel Jubilee that I traced down to chronograph.com
This bezel search is driving me crazy. Any help that'd put me on track is greatly appreciated. PM's welcome.
If I want a vintage ladies watch, which brands should I be looking for? Thank you... I like the thought but I'm completely clueless regarding brands and quality... :P

I love watches. Crisis has stopped me, but I still love them. That's why my avatar is a photo of the Patek Philippe symbol.
I'm starting to love perfumes, but I have a long way to explore ahead.
I wonder if there are more watches lovers at Basenotes, and that's why I ask you to post the combo you enjoy more (last days..., who knows next week? ) and the one you wish you had.
I wish I had...
And one of these, but I'm not sure enough...
Have a nice day/night
