Default The next best thing to Bois Blond ?

I bought a bottle of Bois Blond this September, and now it's firmly lodged as my holy grail fragrance. This is would be a most satisfactory situation were it not for the fact the Bois Blond is limited edition, and its presence it quickly fading from the world - and more importantly - store shelves ( I bought The Perfume Shoppe's last bottle ).

So, when that last drop is used up, I'd like to have something I like just as much to replace it, preferably as close in style and effect. It's that strange dry grass note that permeates the top and middle notes that interests me most.

Any suggestions? Willing to give anything a try, though I'd prefer something on the drier rather than the sweeter side of Bois Blond.

    Thanks in advance!

I would venture to say Bois de Copaiba. Your prayers have been answered though. Bois Blond isn't a limited edition anymore. So stock up while you can!

I recommend L'Air du Desert Marocain. I personally prefer Bois Blond, but I could not buy a bottle.

Bois Blond is still available at LuckyScent.... is it really getting that hard to find? Do I need to move it up on my 'future bottles' list?

    Ben,
Bois Blond was a limited edition. However, it has been moved to their regular line (Thanks sucrose for that information!). I dropped an email to PG and got a confirmation as well.

Thank you so much! That is wonderful news.

Though it does give me pause - why has Luckyscent jacked up the price by thirty bucks recently?

I actually went back and forth on these two fragrances this summer. Bought samplers of each twice, eventually came down on the side of Bois Blond. L'Air has a persistent sour note on me that I can't quite grow to love. Though I appreciate that it is an interesting and well made perfume, that intriguing dry note I find more of and in a more refined form - to my nose; on my skin - in Bois Blond.
