Default Parfums d'Empire Eau Suave - Anyone tested this?

I couldn't find any thread about this on the board. Apparently this is another Rose based fragrance....what do you guys think of it? This is primarily marketed for women...too feminine? worth a try or not? Thanks

Hey gupts, I have a lot of time for Parfum d'Empire but I can't make a call on eau suave.

If you're ever in Hawthorn visit peony perfumery on Glenferrie Road, talk to Jill, and you can try out the whole range.

It's a nice chypre with a sparkling rose heart. IMO it's well blended in a bit of an 80's style, in fact it reminds me a lot of another 80's chypre from Pierre Cardin: CHOC de Cardin. It's actually not extremely feminine and if you like rose and the chypre family I can see a man spotting this.

There is a cheap bottle of this on Ebay for about 40 right now....check it out.
