Default Thought Provoking Compositions which stands true to it's Name

Many a times, we come across scents that represents the theme and name it stands for very well. most often, these are really thought provoking scents.

could you guys suggest a scent, which in your opinion is very true to the name/theme it represents?

    for me, it has been...

    Profumum - Fumidus and Thundra
Almost all the scents by Tauer
Divine - Sage (as in prophet)
    to name a few

another Profumum: Acqua di Sale or any of the range of Parfums d'Empire perhaps.

Tauer's L'air... and all of the Durbano's to date (excl. Jade, until tested next week).

    Profumum's Santalum
    Art of Shaving Sandalwood
    LV' Sandalo

a few hints of supporting notes..but pretty linear sandalwood accords

I concur with you on the Tauer line...Incense Rose is the one thats closest to its name....although I fail to see the dance in Vetiver Dance, or the extreme in Incense Extreme...

Guerlain's Vetiver is true to its name too

CB I Hate perfumes has most of its collection true to its name...

rest all are complete antonyms to their composition...

My nose simply fails to find

    the black in bulgari black
the blue in hugo boss dark blue
    the sultan in ambre sultan
where is the miracle in Lancome's miracle...

Neither can I find the citizen and dont know who's the queen in Citizen queen ...and for the sake of the holy lord...will please anyone tell me why Juliette has a gun ??

    Five O'clock au Gingembre.

Gris Clair - If I'm right in thinking this translates to "clear gray."

Most of the Pd'E scents inspired by empires/events.

The entire Aqua di Parma Blue Mediterraneo line are thought provoking and true to their name.

Especially Capri Orange, Ttuscan Cypress and Amalfi Fig!

These transport you to Italy instantly.

    Santal Noble truly is.

Or Black and Black Aoud are the two "black" fragrances that actually seem black to me.

    Chene.

    Havana and Habanita.

Muscs Koublai Khan is pretty much to the point, and so is Tubereuse Criminelle.

    Dzongkha.

And let's not forget Apres l'Ondee.
