I like Gendarme 20! It's just a peaceful calm fragrance!
I've been using The Dreamer before I go to bed, but I don't think it's helping me dream or sleep better.

Pure lavender oil -- a true soporific.

Peggy: "Right now, we have to get to the mental institution. Something terrible has happened."
Latrelle: "What?"
Peggy: "Brother Boy has tried to kill himself. He jumped out of his bedroom window."
Latrelle: "Isn't he only on the second floor?"
Peggy: "Yes, but he hit his head on a lawn gnome."

Actually, the taste of Zolpidem 10 Mg by Gador.
Now, seriously, lavander is indicated as a tranqulizer in aromatherapy. However, sparying my pillow with lavender water doesn't have any kind of effect at all in me.
Guess I will have to try that.
In the meantime, I take a glass of red wine when if I can't sleep.
Lavender is supposed to induce restful sleep. I like Eau Illuminee by Delrae. Jicky seems like it would work well. There are lots of those lavender based frags in mens. Most go over to the male (soapy) side for me, except the first two.

The scent of Lagavulin in a glass?
I occasionally wear something to go to bed, but I haven't found anything that stands above and beyond anything else. It's always nice to wake up to remnants though.

The feel of cool crisp sheets, the dark of night and Royal Bain de Caron works nicely for me.

For me it's anything with a good incense note like 2 MAN or Vetiver 46.
The scent of a vicotini...that's a martini with a vicodin where the pimento should be ^_^. Quite relaxing, really!
Seriously, the smell of milk a la Ava Luxe's 'Milk' or CSP's Matin Calin. I find these both quite dreamy and restful.
This is a good question because I've tried many different frags for this purpose. I know that lavender is supposed to aide with sleeping but it just doesn't work for me......I don't like the smell at all.
Here are the ones that I've tried that I've like very much in order of preference:
-Mr. Hulot's Holiday
-Sables
-Miel de Bois
I've also had very good luck with linden. It is very clean, fresh and green smelling which has helped me clear my mind and relax. But I don't know of any particular fragrances that are linden based......maybe someone else can recommend one or two?
I love to spray my pillow with Gris Clair a few minutes before going to bed. It's the most wonderful, tranquil, soothing fragrance that I have ever encountered.

rub some valerian essential oil on your upper lip if you want to sleep better.
Strange medicinal/herbacious/earthy smell.
As far as dreaming? lol
No scent really has an impact...um...maybe a certain herbal/skunky/citrus/chypre/fougere scent affects my dreaming...when I've been too heavy on the spliffs I dream alot less, or at least don't remember the dreams.
I won't try lavender even if it is truly soporific...lavender is way too much phytoestrogens. Our imam say to keep men and developing boys away from strong copncentrations of tea tree or lavender.

I would like a little bit of Armani Code before i go to bed.
D&G By Man for swap. About 5 to 10 ML.
I've been using Claiborne Sport for several months. I hope I'm not addicted, but I'm afraid to find out.
I dab my pillow with lavender oil, too. It seems to work pretty well.
Valerian is powerful stuff, but it's not recommended you use it in strong doses or for more than 2 weeks at a time (if I recall correctly from my aromatherapy guidebook)
