    Unhappy R.I.P. Laurent Bruyere

It's a sad day in the world of perfumery... the nose of Laurent Bruyere (Mare, previously IFF) has passed away at the tender age of 43.

Here's some of the perfumes he has created:
    -Alien (Thierry Mugler)
    -Amor Amor (Cacharel)
    -Incanto (Salvatore Ferragamo)
    -Incanto Dream (Salvatore Ferragamo)
    -Innocent (Thierry Mugler)
    -My Morgan (Parfums Morgan)
-Porsche Design The Essence (his last scent before his death)
    -Scent (Costume National)
    -Scent Gloss (Costume National)
    -Scent Intense (Costume National)
    -Sentiment for Men (Escada)
    -Sexy Graffiti (Escada)

He will be missed... such a talented nose with a lot of potential.

It's really quite pleasant, except for the smell (...)

I just read that on Now Smell This. That's very sad. I love some of those fragrances listed. R.I.P. Laurent Bruyere.

This is sad news to hear of the passing of a great "nose." In my wardrobe, he'd be worthy of remembrance even if Costume National Scent Intense were the only one he made... what a gorgeous, deep, intoxicating scent! The fact that he also made many other gems just shows us how he passed far before his time.
