Default help me pick a frag for winter

    Hello everyone,

I have just registered and I would like you to help me pick a fragrance for winter. I'm 21 and I'm looking for something long lasting. What would you guys reccommend I sample?

I've posted a similar thread a couple of months ago and after all the suggestions and samplings I am using Guerlain L'Instant Extreme (the EDP version) and can't get enough of it

You got to try Himalaya man. I like it in winter, but heck I like it any time of the year. By the way, I'm 21 as well, and I wear and love Himalaya, its young and fresh and yet still holds its own in the Winter cold.

    I second on Burberry London.
And give the gourmands a sniff, I'm a real sucker for Rochas Man.
Sculpture by Nikos might be worth a try as well.

London is great, but not particularly long-lasting. I would recommend YSL L'Homme or Burberry Brit.

I'm 26, for the winter I like YSL M7, Rochas Man, Lolita Lempicka eau Masculine, and B*Men to name just a few...

Burberry London is not all that long lasting even though it's great. I mean, it's there on the skin but it doesn't project and you must overspray big time on your skin and a bit on your shirt if you want it to last. It's just not a powerful fragrance despite being strong right after the first spray. It just dies down too quickly. If you don't mind overspraying on yourself, or on your clothes, then give London a try. Burberry Brit is also a great choice and it actually lasts and projects for a long time. The two are really different from each other. Sample both at a department store to see what you think.

Opium EDP or even Opium EDT, these are wonderful, refined, and warm scents.

I like Burberry Brit and Opium EDP as well. But the safest thing you could do is to go and test all the suggestions made in this thread, read reviews and decide which one do you like best and which one suits you. Good luck!
